Title: Sadly, my mother thought this was a gag birthday gift.
Review: This item was an utter disaster. Although, the packaging for cold shipping was impressive. However, when I opened the box and saw the strawberry greenery, it was shockingly dried out and unattractively shriveled and brown. All the chocolate coverings appeared to have been /appeared to be wet or sweating. Not a good look. It also appeared these strawberries were supposed to have been constantly chilled, but were not. As well as lingering in storage for longer than they should have been. When it was time to sample these average size chocolate dipped strawberries, that part was the worst of it. The texture of these strawberries was horridly spongy, stiff and rubbery. Nothing even close to a fresh, ripe strawberry. If it were not for the sugar in the chocolate there would have been nothing to taste. Down the kitchen sink disposal they all went.
