Title: Seniors with no strength need younger bodies to move the TV and properly plug in the various wires.
Review: READER, there is an epilogue to my initial review..Initial review with ONE STAR:I am a retired senior. I succumbed to the advertising that these headphones would be great for seniors, so I ordered it. However, when it arrived, I found out I had to do more than just turn on the headphones. As I no longer have youngsters in my household who have the strength to move my TV and connect the essential plugs/wires, I returned the product. This product reminded me of the TV ears that were advertised more than ten years ago; I had purchased a pair back then to watch TV while my kids were asleep. Back then, I had the patience and strength to properly plug in the various wires…EPILOGUE (2025-05-24):Reviewed product on 2025-04-21.Company contacted me a few days later wanting to “address any issuesor concerns you have.”I responded and explained my situation:current cancer patient with subsequent loss of physical strength;had almost tipped 65” TV over onto floor when trying to attach sound bar;thus, no longer moving TV by myself.I use the blue-tooth feature exclusively due to bad hearing andto watch TV while adult daughter sleeps (she had moved back hometo finish school).I had already ordered several blue-tooth headsets and returnedthem. I test the headsets with “Wheel of Time” and otherspecial effects laden shows (think “Star Wars” and “Marvel”).For all of the headsets I ordered and tested, all but one wasable to handle the sound WITHOUT SKIPPING. I watch a lotof shows that are special effects laden and was surprised whenthe sound “skipped” (similar to scratchy record) in the headsets.I explained the new headset was to replace one that was overten years old and falling apart.The COMPANY REP still wanted to help and asked if they could provideme with a new product, even knowing I had one headset that workedwithout “sound skipping.”So, in early May 2025, I received a “Bluetooth Headphone With Transmitter Charging Dock” (Model HS010). I immediately tested the headphone using only the blue-tooth function on the shows I mentioned WITHOUT plugging in the transmitter. The sound DID NOT SKIP at all–I experienced VERY SMOOTH listening pleasure!To the Company’s credit, in my more than 20-year history with Amazon, they are one of two vendors who truly went out of their way to be helpful. Title: Amazing headphones, reasonably priced
Review: I bought these as a birthday gift for my husband which ended up being more of a present for me. He blares the TV, listening to the news, for several hours every night. So loud that I often play white noise in the other room to tune it out. He asked for headphones for the TV so he could hear while I was in the kitchen. He researched headphones and selected a pair that was over $200 with reviewers saying the audio often dropped and they were dissatisfied.I saw these, which operate via Bluetooth rather than wifi. The low price was nice but was not the reason I bought them.Set up was quick – we used the optical cord. Our TV is 17 years old and I still had the manual. Without the manual I most would not have been able to locate the optical plug in on my TV.Sound is great and there have been no drops. He can lower the TV volume almost completely so I hear nothing. Muting the TV mutes the headphones too. Raising the volume on the TV does not raise the volume on the headphones.The minus might be that the volume buttons on the headphones are small and difficult to operate via touch. There is also a multifunctional button between the volume up and volume down, which mutes the sound coming into the headphones. He kept hitting it accidentally and couldn’t figure out why he wasn’t hearing anything through the headphones. It would be more helpful to have that button on the other earpiece, away from the volume buttons.I highly recommend these headphones for use with TVs.

Title: Nice TV Headphones but not loud enough for my mother.
Review: This was a Mother’s Day gift for my mother who is 103.It arrived on time.It was very well packaged.It was easy to setup.The headphones connected right up to the base.They looked great.They have a simple on/off switch, you don’t have to use a multi-purpose button to turn them on.They can be used as Bluetooth headsets for other devices (instructions tell you how to do it)I thought they sounded fine listening to TV, I was not looking for studio sound.I did return them because my mother has pretty severe hearing loss and they would not get loud enough for her.I am rating them 5 stars. If you have moderate hearing loss or just want to listen to TV in bed without disturbing your partner these would be very good and a great value.

Title: Excellent quality and freedom of movement.
Review: Super pleased with these headphones. My first comet product and won’t be the last. This resolved my issue of using my wired 430 Bose headphones in my recording studio which constantly kept getting between my feet and my chair as I move from the keyboard to the mixer (using Bluetooth was not an option in my setup.) There was bound to be an accident. But with these amazing Comet headphones, I retain the same professional look, almost the same quality as my Bose for a fraction of the price, even longer run-time, same noiselessness as my Bose but with freedom of movement…finally!!The sync between the base (which you connect to your source/TV/Audio interface/CD-Player) happens near-instantly with a pleasant female voice that tells you it’s done.Latency is low…I’d say about 1-5 ms which for me was a non-issue as I’m not watching TV with them. I used the 1/8” cable that comes with it to plug into my RME Fireface 802 headphone jack. The charger base looks badass in the studio and even after an hour of use, there was still no need for a charge. I also didn’t look for the noise-cancellation feature as there’s no noise at home and I found that noise cancellation ‘colors’ the sound a bit which I didn’t want. I wanted pure sound and I got it with the comet. All in all, very glad I made this purchase. Keep it up!Highly recommended.
