Title: Three-of-a-Kind
Review: Triqueta: A Strategic and Portable Game for Casual Game NightsTriqueta is a fun and easy-to-learn game (learning curve: 2 out of 5) that offers a surprising amount of strategic depth for casual game nights. It plays well with 2-5 players and takes about 10-15 minutes per match, making it a great choice for a quick and engaging game session. Here are some of Triqueta’s strengths:* Strategic Gameplay: the game has a psychological strategy element. In Triqueta, this comes from pushing your luck and trying to read your opponents to collect exactly three of each animal type. Getting more than three comes with penalties, so there’s a strategic balance to consider.* Easy to Learn: With a simple rule set, Triqueta is approachable for new players and families.* Portable: The reviewer also highlighted the game’s compact size. This makes Triqueta a perfect travel companion or a great choice for playing at cafes or game nights on the go.Here are some additional details to consider:* Number of Players: The review mentions 2-5 players, which is accurate.* Game Length: As mentioned, a typical game lasts 10-15 minutes.* Theme: Triqueta has a Celtic theme with beautiful wooden animal tokens.Overall, Triqueta is a strategic and portable game that’s perfect for casual game nights. With its easy-to-learn rules and quick playtime, it’s a great choice for both families and groups of friends looking for a fun and engaging game experience.

Title: Easy to pickup, lots of replay value, great fun
Review: I really enjoyed this game. The premise is easy, the rules are not difficult, and when the other players ask to play it again and again you have a winner. The only negative is the amount of time it takes to stack the wood markers…maybe having a holder in the box or something would make it better.

Review: It’s a cool little family game, easy to learn. The components are in good quality. However, I hope there is a deluxe edition, like Chinese Mahjong.

Title: Entertaining and fun for family
Review: This game is a piece of cake to learn. My whole family loves it from ages 10 on up! Even my spouse will play it who hates board games! There is some thought needed but it plays fast and easy. Highly recommend from ages 10+

Title: The product itself is fine. the shipping method however is not.
Review: Who would have thought it would be a good idea to just wrapping a board game with one thin piece of envelope with one layer of bubble wrap. is came up pretty much what you expect torn up and bang up on every surface on the box. The game itself is brand new and the shipping time was pretty fast so at least it’s not a total disaster.

Review: Game itself plays well, very simple rules and is quick to play. The tokens are a nice alternative to cards, but this is basically just a more expensive version of Coloretto so depending on the price, I wouldn’t pay much more for this. The animal tokens give it a ‘Hive’ feeling where the tactile element makes it more enjoyable and the push-you-luck mechanism works well (be too greedy and you will lose).Cons:Box was damaged and several animal tokens had issues too (one wasn’t finished properly and has extra wood sticking out so it is obvious what that token is, and 2 others had damage/misprints on the animal face).Setup is a bit of a pain (need to stack the animal tokens into 4 small towers of 15 pieces which takes a few mins).Playing at 2 players wasn’t much fun, would suggest 3+ for more enjoyment. Not sure I want to keep this with the damaged token – it’s pretty game-breaking always knowing what one of the tiles is and getting a replacement token will likely be impossible.
