Title: terrific game system – TIME stories
Review: terrific game system – TIME stories. I own all the scenarios. The scenarios are not replayable, but they are very deep and complex making it a very satisfying and fun game. The puzzles can be complicated – it helps to play with others to discuss solution options and strategies. The story is what drives it. Very tense in spots and even scary. Plays well solitaire. Game mechanic has a unique system for saving your spot in the game if you can’t complete it in one session. Obvious from the beginning that this game system is well – developed and play tested. Estrella Drive is only one scenario. You must own the TIME STORIES base game. The base game comes with the first scenario – Asylum. Excellent choice of a game to play at a family gathering or party. You can teach the others the game as you go.

Title: Good game, worth it at the discount for sure
Review: Our second favorite of the series after asylum. Its not for kids, but it’s not as graphic as some of the reviews would have you believe. I would feel comfortable playing again with adults. It’s basically a rated R card game, so people that don’t watch rated R movies obviously might not be comfortable with this game.

Title: Not my favorite time stories, needed more editing and play testing
Review: not my favorite of the bunch and it had SO MANY SPELLING AND GRAMMAR ERRORS and the font choice was almost impossible to read at times.That said, parts of it were still good, but I wish more were like prophecy of dragons which is my favorite so far.

Title: It was a lot of fun
Review: This is my third T.I.M.E. Story.It would not have been our first choice as our next “story” but it was on sale for $12.99, so we figured that we could get at least 13 bucks worth of fun out it. And indeed we did.Although the other two were better. This one was not as bad as I was expecting based on the reviews I found here and in other places. The “Mature Content” label did scare me a bit, but it was not as bad as I was expecting. The scenario was not that much worse but my guess is that it was labelled as such due to language and a couple of the pictures.The font was hard to readThere were obvious translation errorsI really enjoyed the extra “mystery” of a second “secret” deck. And all the things that could not happen until other things happened. There were several moments when we triggered a game mechanic that caused much rejoicing and other that made us groan. These were the moments that made this “story” so much fun to play.The “story” itself seems to have less clues than others but we completed the game in two runs with LOADS of extra TU at the end of the second, which of course reaps its own rewards. We had never completed a “story” in under four runs so this was really exciting for us.I am glad we bought and I am glad we played it.

Title: Maybe as a joke, but not worth the money
Review: Multiple false leads and dead ends would have made this a frustrating experience, but luckily the writing was so laughably bad (and obviously translated by a non-native speaker) that we ended up playing this more as a parody than actually a regular T.I.M.E. Stories game. It reminded me of watching Hong Kong action flicks with really bad subtitles. There were times when we sincerely had no idea what they were trying to say. I still have no idea what “fly-beaten“ means in describing an album cover.I would definitely avoid this title. It is far below the other modules we’ve played and is a little shocking that it was released given how much it feels like it was written by Google translate.

Title: Garbage
Review: Absolute garbage. Bad story, bad art, bad spelling, bad grammar. I’ve played all of the expansions, and they all have different strengths and weaknesses, but this is the bottom of the stack. It’s unfortunate because we were really looking forward to this one and had high hopes for the silly situations it could have had, but all it ended up being was hippy pot references.Will not be buying future expansions from this author/developer.

Title: Not bad, but lots of room for improvement
Review: A decent entry in the series, but didn’t quite measure up to the previous entry, Lumen Fidei.The actual gameplay of the scenario is decent, if a bit more confusing than most previous scenarios.The mature label is a bit disconcerting but in reality the scenario isn’t that much more mature than previous entries. Your mileage may vary.The English translation for this scenario is flat out terrible. Previous scenarios have had minor translation issues, which are to be expected, but this one is often so bad as to break immersion, and is sometimes incomprehensible. For a game that relies almost entirely on text, that’s a problem.

Review: I love T.I.M.E. Stories and this expansion is a particular favorite of mine. The story and puzzles were well down with a number of interesting characters to choose from. This one is rated mature, so I wouldn’t play it with a younger audience.
