Title: A speedy little devil…
Review: This drive has worked great for me, both on a 24-inch iMac (new), along with an older 2017 iMac (with USB 2 legacy ports.) Strangely, while I also have a third 2015 iMac with 2 USB C ports, this flash USB C option does, in fact, not fit into the USB C ports on the 2015 iMac. Weird, but just thought I’d mention it for anyone who has a 2015 iMac.

Title: I feel the quality
Review: There is a pleasant clicking sound with each rotation of the flash drive to the usb c or usb a port.I downloaded the encryption software from the official SanDisk website.Very pleased with the build quality and performance of the flash drive.I keep it in my large travel and document wallet.Worth every penny.

Title: They’re Great!
Review: They’re great! Great speed! Great capacity! Of course Amazon delivered them right on time. I use them for local backup of my laptops. It’s amazing how much info a flash drive can hold these days. I was around when 10k was a BIG deal.

Title: A Solid Flash Drive
Review: Solid performing flash drive however both computer interfaces are not protected (therefore 4 stars rather than 5). The shell protects one or the other not both. I decided to purchase the SanDisk rather than the 2 TB 1000 MB/S SSK which although protecting both interfaces got poor performance reviews (heat and reliability).

Title: Blazing fast, great capacity – and worth the size trade-off
Review: The SanDisk 2TB Extreme PRO Dual Drive USB is an absolute beast of a flash drive. It’s a bit bulkier than the SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe, but with 2TB of storage and up to 1000MB/s speeds, the added size makes sense—and honestly, it’s still pocketable and sleek enough. See my photos for size comparison between the Luxe, this Extreme PRO, and a pen.Performance-wise, it really delivers. In my disk speed tests, it consistently hits around 800MB/s read/write, and real-world large file transfers confirm those numbers. It’s super fast, and noticeably runs cooler than the Luxe, which is a nice bonus during long copy sessions.While the Luxe is already a fantastic drive, this model feels like a step up across the board. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but when you consider that this little USB stick offers performance and storage on par with my Samsung T7 2TB SSD—at a similar price point—it’s pretty amazing. I got this at $149 during Springs Sale btw.Highly recommended if you want high-speed, high-capacity portable storage in a compact form. Totally happy with this purchase.

Title: Maybe a dud?
Review: I’m not sure if this is normal, but the 512Gb stick I’ve got today gets extremely hot after few minutes of being plugged into my laptop, or mobile phone. Even without any data transfer. Hot to the point where is uncomfortable to touch!Used on a MacBook Pro laptop and iPhone 15Pro.

Review: SanDisk Extreme Pro, Dual Drive 1TB. While you can see it in “Files” as “USB” (they call that compatibility), it has no software available for backing up Photos/Videos/Files in an orderly fashion. I tried to backup my 10k photos/videos and it crashed the Photo App while heating up both the iPhone 16 Pro Max and the USB key. It is the 2nd SanDisk device i buy (2TB SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD) for backup and none work well with either my iPhone 16 Max Pro or my iPad Pro 12.9 6th Gen. latest IOS 18.x. No more SanDisk for me…

Review: Collegata ad una porta USB-C 3.2 gen 2, dal terzo file da oltre 10GB caricato in poi, rallenta e scende da 650MB/s a 11MB/s in modo altalenante (da SSD interna, non da hard disk esterno). Stesso prodotto HP, molto meglio e costa meno, al massimo scende a 350MB/s fisso non altalenante. Restituita.
