Title: Best Two-Way Radio – Quality & Price
Review: I have bought many Retevis radios before, and these next generation units are to paving the way for excellent two way communications. Compared to the H-777, the new RT7 units are much sleeker in design, have a much better antenna, and better clip. The sleeker design allows for better grip and easy PTT. The battery last a good working day. The range is quite excellent considering the size of the radio. It can go 5-7 miles easy in more open area and with dense buildings probably 1-2 which is excellent if you are inside communicating between buildings. The radios are easily programmed to any frequency you wish and come pre-programmed to use FCC no license needed frequencies; however, if you intend to use for business it is better to get a licensed frequency for optimal communications and less interference. Programming takes less then 5 minutes and can utilize the same software as the H-777 so you can use your same settings. All and all, these radios are hands down the best for price and quality! Our marina has never been able to communicate so efficiently!

Title: Very pleased
Review: Recently had power outages during a winter storm. We bought these so we can keep in contact with my wifes 93 year old mother who lives a quarter mile away so she can reach us if she has a problem. The device’s work very good, nice and clear with no static and they are very simple to use. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommend this if you are looking for a great product at a very affordable price.

Title: Impressive for the price
Review: These walkie talkie have been an excellent purchase. We use them for close convoy overlanding and they have performed exceptionally well, especially considering their price point. In the hill and ravines you will only get a quarter to half mile but for what we do it’s perfect. Simple and easy to operate. Built well and seems durable. So far they have been reliable and without issue. Highly recommend

Title: GOOD VALUE. HANDLE WITH CARE
Review: These radios are reliable, fun to use, and have good battery life; range is pretty decent and reasonable too; customer service is also very professional. We used our set of radios during a group road trip. It’s fun coordinating with other cars in your convoy.However, I’m taking out 1 star because the plastic material they used for the front panel grille is very very weak… My radio was clipped to my belt on the left side, and i accidentally hit it against my car while retrieving some groceries from the rear right passenger side of the car. Front panel grille just broke apart – very low impact too. The radio still works, but it annoys me now when I’m looking at it.I admit that am partly to blame for this problem, but i do wish they used stronger material. Now I need to start looking for a replacement front housing/panel.Overall, the radios are good value, just handle with reasonable care… and then some more EXTRA care.

Title: Great radios at a great price for a tight budget!
Review: I enjoy the fact that it is simple and easy to use. Very clear reception. The squelch key is conveniently located below the PTT button, which makes longer distance communication easy. We have reached just over 2 miles with this feature, which is much better than I had expected. Channel identification is easy to hear when switching back and forth between channels, and is a nice convenience as well. We have the extended batteries, which allows constant communication throughout the day. Some of the radios have gone 2 days without charging. I have not had one die yet. Sturdy case and overall good design.

Review: So far I’ve tested these walkie talkies on a hike where the height differences were about 25 feet at a distance of a little over a mile. Reception was clear consistently. The only time it dropped was when I intentionally walked behind a lighthouse to test. I’ve left them off the charging dock, on but with little use, and when I put them on the charging dock three days later they were fully charged in about ten minutes. I still haven’t seen how long the battery will last with heavy usage but I’m confident they will hold a charge for a while. Since very few things are 5 stars I only give the fifth star based on customer service. In all my experience in dealing with sellers on Amazon, Retevis is one of the best. Angela is quick to respond and is very helpful. Overall great experience. I plan on buying all the add-ons that are available for this model. Eliminator, programming cable and USB charging dock (you might have to ask for the USB dock from their website).

Review: Despues mucho tiempo buscando y ver cual podria ser el mas util y mejor walkie talkie para nuestras caminatas familiares en las montanias, decidi de comprar este set de 4En si los walkie talkies tienen una limpia y clara calidad de sonido, los canales se escuchan limpio sin otros ruidos pero nada mas hasta siertas distancias cuales no son muy largos. Hemos hecho los walkie talkies en varios ocaciones dentro de nuestro pueblo el cual es chico y casi plano y llega a mas o menos a 1 hasta 2 km, pero dentro de las montanias o bosques en donde separan montanias, arboles o alturas, la distancia de una limpia conecxion y comunicacion no llega ni a un km lo cual es muy poco y me esperaba mucho mas. Eso si, la pila dura mucho pero hay que cargar los por varios horas, los walkie talkies en si estan hecho de material solido y aguantan caidas y viene cada uno con cargador y audiophonos y clip para poner al cinturon.
