Title: Great gift for my 11 year old grandchild.
Review: Our grandson really enjoyed reading several of the books in this series. They are chapter books I gave our grandson who loves sports and to read. He was in 5th grade when I bought them. He has good reading skills, and these are appropriate for a 5th grader.

Title: Amazing
Review: This book along with all the others is thrilling to the very end, and it has just the right amount of moments between Stevie and Susan Carol to make you really care about their relationship. There are 6 books in the series and I hope the future books are with them a little more grown up since all of us that started reading these when they came out are grown up now as well. Other than that, they’re very good! All 6 of them!

Title: Son Loves the Series
Review: I have not personally read these books, but I can tell you that my 12 year old son has really enjoyed them. He loves reading and I think I’ve purchased several of these books in the past month. I’m a mom that isn’t fond of books with evil things or a lot of violence and books without that are hard to come by. I’ve been happy with most of these books.

Title: Great book for older readers
Review: Finding books that my 13-year-old son will read was difficult until I found Feinstein. His books keep my son engaged and off of the video games.

Title: Good Book, Just Missing One Big Detail
Review: I bought the whole series for my younger family. I ended up reading all six books so I could chat about them with my family.Might be my simple level of reading comprehension, but I enjoyed all of the books. Nothing was too transparent, even if I was able to guess a few details before the ending.Food books for any teens that like sport, or sports journalism.Only gripe is that the author forgot to work Bob and Tom into the story. Would have loved to hear how Bob, Tom, Chick, or Kristi Lee would have helped out with the mystery.

Title: Great Read
Review: I bought this book for my 13 year old son. I read it and enjoyed it. It was very interesting and easy to read for a kid but not too easy that an adult would not want to read it. Great story line and I would recommend this book if you like mysteries.

Title: My son loved them all
Review: My 8 year old son devoured all the Feinstein books. One of the best sports writers for adults and for kids. Some of the themes too mature for my eight year old but he hears a lot of it on ESPN anyway. I saw Feinstein name and just figured they must be good.

Title: recommend for sports lovers, not book lovers
Review: The story line of two teens who crack the mystery involving high profile characters is not new. This book reminded me of a modern day Hardy Boys/ Nancy Drew type. I would recommend this book for someone who likes sports (in this case, football) and the publicity surrounding it. It is not a suspenseful book, but a good book for those (like teenage reluctant readers) who want/need something to read that will keep you interested, but still be able to put it down.
