Review: Bought for my husband. Product works well, but there is a slightly longer delay between what is said and when it is received than I would like. It is also a little more difficult to understand what is being said than the unit I use.

Review: I used this with a Midland walkie talkie for officiating football. I used it for (most of) the first half of a varsity game. Nothing but issues, an switch to a wired headset at half.*most of, bc it didn’t work properly during the first half’IF’ the pushbutton worked, it was extremely delayed (roughly 2 seconds, before the mic ‘clicked’ on and started picking up my voice). 99% of the time, the button did nothing.The headset repeated turned itself off, and sometimes required re-pairing to the receiver before working again.If I was talking on my headset (using the PTT on the earpiece itself), it came across clear… Unless someone else talked. In which case, they would cut me out entirely, with my voice becoming completely muted.At times, reception was clear. At other times, it was so bad it wasn’t worth trying to decipher. When I put my wired earpiece in, it was night and day better/clearer, compared to when the wireless earpiece was ‘clear’The only options to talk are the pushbutton and the PTT on the earpiece. You cannot use the button on the walkie talkie.You have to charge the 3 pieces separately (earpiece, receiver, and pushbutton)I had high hopes for this, as ‘wiring up’ becomes a hassle with the uniform. With the considerable issues, I’m not even considering requesting a replacement.I would buy another brand, an even pay more, if I knew of a reliable option. However, I have already processed my return of this item.
