Title: Value in function with ease of use
Review: If all the solar security cameras where like these this would be great. The image quality is very good. I do not like the sound from them, though a nice thing sometimes. The price is on par, but I feel I got way more than I paid for, GOOD THING!. I have recomended these to several people wanting solar security cameras.The signal from the homebase is only OK. I was hoping for better from a dedicated wifi system, but I have one camera about 125′ inside a sheet metal bard and I still get 48% signal, so.The motion detection is very sensetive. I get notified every time the wind blows. That is kind of a good thing for me. Then I can see more of what goes on when I am gone.I believe AOSU should upgrade the NAND memory to 64Gb or offer an external storage solition without cloud storage costs. That is just me, I prefer to have local storage, makes me feel somewhat more safe.Overall a great value and super easy to setup.It is nice to be able to see the cameras over the internet, and interact with them from anywhere via the app!So far the 2 issues I had were resoved very quickly, with little lag time in security coverage.Very good product, BTW I own 2 of these and they do a great job!

Title: EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW!!!!
Review: This is a completely honest and hopefully thorough review. I also hope you take the time to read before buying as i have seen a few reviews that are uninformed buyers.I’ve researched multiple security cameras especially more expensive ones as these were not my first choice but I’m extremely impressed with them. I also bought 2 – 2k expansions cause I wasn’t informed (I am now) and another 5MP (3k) set. 8 cameras total and 2 home bases. I’ve had them installed for months now. Let’s begin…The price is fair, other cameras are more expensive and give you similar, if not the same video quality 2k is pretty good the 5MP are 3k. I didn’t realize this before I bought my first set but I guess 5MP is slightly better, in reality the picture quality looks identical at least to me. The physical quality of the cameras are awesome no complaints, cameras are sturdy and solid, the solar panels are pretty good. Panels are light not very big and have about a 10ft USB-C cord to connect to the bottom of the cameras. The mounts are pretty thin plastic but sturdy enough for the cameras and panels. I would think they would have made them a little stronger cause of the weight of the camera but none broke on install and they seem to hold up well. Panel mounts can be adjusted to point at the optimal place in the sky for the sun. Camera mounts have a more limited angle so it’s best to point it in the direction you want to see and make small adjustments for optimal viewing angle. These are very easy to install and they come with all the hardware you need. The hardest part is figuring out where you want the camera and where to put the panel for best sunlight at least it was for me. I can’t say to much on battery life as they are all charged by panels. Per the instructions charge them to 100% before installing them outside and update the firmware before installing outside. I had 4 days with no sun and my highest traffic camera, settings at high video quality, high sensitivity, and longest recording went down to 82%. It was back to 100 with 1 day of half sun. No other camera has been past 98% battery life with a solar panel. My opinion buy the sets with panels and never worry about taking them down to change. Now WHAT SHOULD YOU BUY!?I opted for the 2k bundle with homebase. Great cameras great quality both physically and video quality. I did not want to spend a monthly subscription for cameras both ring and arlo cameras require it. Having a homebase is required to not pay monthly!!! However, you can also pay for the subscription if you want to but it’s not mandatory. That being said, you can ONLY HAVE 4 CAMERAS ON EACH HOMEBASE!! Something I didn’t not know when I bought 2 more 2k cameras as an expansion you need another homebase. Side note when I bought the expansion the cameras were the same but the panels were actually bigger, not by much but they were different not a big deal though. The homebase is 32gb and they loop record so you don’t need to worry about lack of space. You can record events to your phone or pictures to your phone through the app. You can use a voice changer when speaking or use prerecorded messages through the cameras using the app. I was impressed with these I bought the 3k version with panels and homebase. Also, I needed the homebase to add in the 2k expansion I bought. THEY DON’T SELL A HOMEBASE ALONE SO BUY A SET. I installed all cameras and even though the cameras have different quality they all work together. Side note you cannot expand the homebase memory.Functions, as stated before, you can use a voice or “tone” changer while speaking through the camera, or prerecorded messages. The sensitivity can be turned up or down for alerts. The light which isn’t very strong so I wouldn’t call it a spot light or flood light but it is a light not great really but the night vision does a great job. That being said you lose the edges of overall viewing picture because the IR light does not flood the entire area but nonetheless it does a good job especially for distance. The motion sensor does a good job as well detecting motion as well but i have mine set all the way up. You can set sleeping times for the cameras and alarm times. These cameras are set up with a loud alarm should you want to turn it on or set a time for them. You can put them to sleep also in the app if you don’t want them on or recording anything. These cameras are absolutely amazing for security and peace of mind. I hope I’ve covered everything you might need to know. I wouldn’t rate them 5stars if I was disappointed in 1 aspect. Honestly, they were better than I expected and invested a lot in them. So far, they have not disappointed and I have had no issues connecting to them while I’m away from home. (Through the app of course.) They have been great at alerting when they pick up motion. You can also change if you want intelligent scan of immediate. Intelligent scam will have a delay sending you an alert cause it filters out trees leaves or windchimes moving or if it’s an actual person. Buy a set of 2 or 4 you won’t regret it. Also, customer service seems to be top notch according to other reviews but I haven’t needed to use them yet. Hope this essay helps those with questions. Almost forgot you can customize the names of cameras and the name of the homebase in case you buy more than 1 like myself. Just make sure you keep them all within your wifi area as the homebase needs to be wired by ethernet cable to your router. (Cables included.)

Title: Great Camera but one had a defect. Agent Julie resolved and made it a 5 🌟 Experience!
Review: After watching multiple reviews I decided to go with this option and from opening to the setup process everything was pretty impressive and easy to understand. Very smooth process so I’d say 10/10 for ease of setup. Camera is a great build, the features are awesome, built in siren, decent 2 way audio, covers a wide angle and alerts are pretty quick.The issue however as can ben seen in the photos attached is that after setup one of the cameras displays everything with a red hue. The camera doesn’t appear to be damaged externally so if it is it would be an internal thing or hopefully something a software update can fix. In the night however, the camera works fine and only displays this way in the day time. I’m assuming the infrared lights or something of the sort is stuck on which is what causes the red imagery during the day time.I’ve contacted Aosu’s customer support via the app (the app is also very easy to navigate 9/10) who responded almost immediately. I’ve sent them the images as proof as well as the model number, etc and have asked for assistance/guidance with resolving the issue or having it replaced. They’ve asked me to give them 12-24 hours to get back to me. 14 hours in so should hear back soon. I’ll update then. Without this defect I’d say to anyone it’s a pretty solid option, easy to setup, app is easy to navigate, camera quality is crisp but I’m sure you can understand the disappointment having been looking forward to getting the product only for it to now have this defect.UPDATE: After reaching out to customer service, an amazing agent by the name of Julie agreed one ofnthe cameras did indeed have a defect and offered to send a replacement camera, no additional cost to me and also no need to return the defected camera. Camera arrived in a matter of days. I have not currently been able to set up adn test as yet due to being away for work but regardless of this I think the customer service received deserves 5 stars. 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 For Julie 👏🏽 I’d buy any product this company has if this is the level of customer service consistently delivered!

Review: Hallo, habe das AOSU 2K Überwachungskamera Solar System jetzt seit ca. 8 Monaten in Gebrauch.Tolles System für einen guten Preis. Da das System eine Homebase hat werden die Aufnahmen auf einer Festplatte (ca.30gb) gespeichert, diese können jederzeit wieder abgerufen werden oder runtergeladen Handy/ Pc usw. gut zum weitergeben der Daten wenn man was verdächtiges entdeckt ;-)! Dank der Base kein Abo Zwang. Die Inbetriebnahme ist auch super einfach und dank der Solar Panele keine Sorgen um die Energieversorgung. Das System gibt sehr schnelle Rückmeldungen wenn Bewegung erkannt wird. Hier gibt es sehr viele Einstellungsmöglichkeiten wegen Zonen oder Erfassungsbereich.Je nachdem was man für eine Smartwatch nutzt bekommt man da sogar das Bild von dem Ereignis sehr cool. Auch die Aufnahmen haben eine tolle Qualität 2k oder SD wie man mag, da kann man echt was mit anfangen. Die Gegensprechanlage funktioniert auch gut, getestet mit dem Hotel Wlan in der Türkei. Wenn man Fragen oder Probleme hat kann man sich immer an den Service über die App wenden. Toller Service und schnelle Problembewältigung. Würde AOSU wieder kaufen, bin super zufrieden und man fühlt sich sicherer^^

Review: J’ai rencontré un problème avec ma caméra Aosu et j’ai contacté leur service client. J’ai été agréablement surpris par leur réactivité et leur professionnalisme. Ils ont rapidement évalué la situation et, sans aucune complication, m’ont envoyé un nouveau kit en remplacement. Tout le processus s’est déroulé sans encombre, avec une excellente communication de leur part. C’est vraiment appréciable de voir une entreprise qui soutient ses produits et qui accorde de l’importance à ses clients. Review: This system provides better value than the Eufy 2c camera system. You get more features at a similar price like higher resolution cameras, more storage, and solar charging. I had the Eufy system and returned it after getting this Aosu system.The system was easy to setup and the app works well and is responsive. If there was one suggestion I could make is for the app is to add 2-step authentication for an extra security layer.In operation itself the system works well enough. The resolution quality is adequate and night vision works well. If your target viewing area is a bit further from the camera, I’d recommend using black and white night vision instead of colour as the contrast helps make objects more distinguishable at night.Motion detection works well if not perfect. There is a detection range that’s shorter than the actual viewing area seen by the camera. Within 10-15 feet it’s reasonably reliable and beyond that less so as the hit rate on motion detection decreases. The angle of the camera also matters here.The solar panels are adequate to keep the cameras charged as long as you point them where they’ll get sun. They even charge on overcast days albeit a bit slower than if they were getting direct sunlight. One of the cameras had a problem where it was not charging correctly and holding charge. After some back and forth with customer service through the app, they sent me a replacement next day and I’m happy to report that the replacement works perfectly now.

Review: Facilité d’installation. Tout de suite reconnu et qualité très bonne. La batterie tient très bien avant que la lumière ne recharge les batteries via les panneaux photovoltaïques. Je pense en recommander plus tard pour en ajouter deux autres.
