Title: Replacement lens
Review: I own the Sony zve-10 let’s just say the kit lens is very fragile and I was tired of replacing it. I was already planning on buying a wide angle lens that but I was looking for one that wasn’t going to damage my pockets and I came across this one . I did my research and looked at reviews after reviews after reviews to make sure this lens was worth the hype and because I’m a VLOGGER I needed my videos to be clean, crisp and the autofocus to be on point . I LOVE THIS LENS it’s exactly what I was looking for, it works well with my camera, light weight and worth it. If you’re looking for a lens I 10/10 highly recommend you buy this one .

Title: Fantastic quality and value but with a few annoyances!
Review: I was actually blown away by the performance of this lens when photographing indoor sports in poor gymnasium lighting! Very sharp, fast and accurate autofocus (90%+ were razor sharp) and gorgeous picture quality for a lens of this type and price!The only complaints I have (sadly these are kind of important) there is no way to lock the aperture ring setting into auto. To make matters worse the settings are not predictable (each click may not equal one increment) and changes setting far too easily (multiple times during the shoot I accidentally changed it). This was after taping the ring to try to avoid it moving inadvertently!Sadly one more issue was updating the firmware. I was only successful doing it using the cellphone app. To set up an account (which is required) and to get through verification code I had to use gmail as my other email providers did not receive it. The good news is it can be done with a little effort.Nevertheless, for the price it is a steal just be careful to avoid unwanted aperture changes!

Title: Gorgeous bokeh, incredible depth of field, amazing low-light!
Review: I started my film making journey back in August of 2023, starting with a gimbal and a iPhone XRI have since bought a Sony FX30 + Tamron 11-20mm f2.8 lens to start with. Mounted on the DJI RS3 and I was off to the races! I used that setup for about 7 months and it was a darn good setup, but that f2.8 was holding back the FX30 by a lot. When it comes to real estate, lighting can fluctuate like crazy and having that f1.4 is amazing. Shooting in S-Log3 gives me an incredible amount of latitude to work withAfter spending a month looking for the next best 11mm-ish lens, I started to see a lot of people post about this and I had to try it. And I was not disappointed in anyway possible. I am not a photographer by any means but I dabble in it and man, that extra 2 stops of light is incredible.2 weeks in and the lens is built extremely well, it feels like a quality product. Even with the FX30, Viltrox 13mm, matte-box, and etc. I can still easily balance it on my DJI RS3. Fantastic stuff. I love the way the aperture ring feels, some people would like some detents but it’s not that bad IMO. The focus ring feels nice and smooth as well, but I honestly which it racked focus quicker. Still not that bad of a compromise!Pros:Bokeh, insanely beautifulLow chromatic aberrationsVery low/no distortionMetal body, metal lens hoodCons:???Not freeNot sealed to the camera bodyOverall, I am extremely pleased with this combo. Title: Looks and feels like a premium product
Review: I still cannot believe a lens with the F1.2 aperture is at this price range. The response of the lens is pretty good, it focuses fast on my Sony FX30! The bokeh at 1.2 is really dreamy and beautiful! The option of making the aperture ring click and non-click is a nice feature. Overall this lens really gives the premium feel especially when it is just about all metal. At this price range it is very reasonable, I would buy again if I had to.

Title: FANTASTIC
Review: L O V E it. First of all – autofocus, sharpness… there are 2000 dollar lenses out there and they are better. This is not one of them. But the 2000 dollar lenses are the size of a tree trunk. If you love small, street style, unobtrusive look of your camera – what can beat this 150 dollar awesomeness. Now another thing – I was packed for trip to Tokyo. This lens popped up on somebody’s Insta story. I went to check Amazon knowing that I’m leaving in two days. There is no way… Surprise. NEXT DAY DELIVERY! Ordered of Friday, had it on Saturday, on the plane with the lens on Sunday and it didn’t come off my camera since. Did I mention that I love it.

Title: Auto Focus but good enough
Review: The biggest gripe I have so far is the auto focus. My Sony AIV has eye tracking for both humans and animals and it keeps on tracking the nose of my dog hence it makes the eyes look more soft. I’ve tried to recover it from post but the photo I uploaded is the best the it can do. There is also a bad fringing when I took the fall colors of my tree and again it’s a little soft on the edges and struggling to focus. There are time when the focus is sharp with the photo of the green tree and my dog on the couch, when it’s sharp boy this lens hits the spot. Then the last shot with he jade on the pot that’s an ok one..it’s showing the pot as a background instead of the whole photo to be the subject and hence its a little soft for my liking. The last one is the video , well this is not for video, it jitters a lot even tho my camera has an image stabilization and there’s a tad bit of noise and I don’t know if that’s the motor trying to focus but it’s picking up on the video. All in all, it’s a hit or miss on photo and missed on video, but for the price….well, you get what you paid for. I say for budget lens this is one of the good buy out there but if your somewhat serious with your photo I’d say just a notch and pick up a Tamron variable lens and that should do the trick. This is not a rant but just an honest review of the lens and the photo will speak for itself.

Su construcción se siente muy premium y ligero, lo cual es muy dificil de conseguir, el tacto frio del metal te hace sentir que tienes un lente del triple de precio, el anillo de diafragma cliquea un poco, lo suficiente para saber que lo estas usando y uno vez colocado donde quieres, no se mueve a menos que tu uses tus dedos, el anillo de enfoque suave y silencioso.He realizado producciones en eventos de drift y el objetivo termina lleno de tierra pero jamás dañado, con su respectivo mantenimiento vuele como nuevo.2. La apertura a f1.4 lo hace muy luminoso, especialmente para tus capturas nocturnas o de bajas condiciones de luz, incluso así el enfoque no deja de ser rápido, el bokeh que crea la apertura máxima es bastante lindo, si me es posible siempre ando entre f1.4 y f1.83. La nitidez que te entrega es bastante buena, no diria que la mejor, pero por el precio que tiene no encontrarás algo igual.4. Te crea un viñeteo notorio, pero que es facilmente corregible, el viñeteo desaparece a medida que vas cerrando el diafragma.5. El video aunque no es estabilizado, las imagenes no se ven nada mal, dejo un video de prueba.He tenido la fortuna de viajar por varios estados del país y por lo práctico, ligero y muy luminoso del objetivo, es el que siempre va montado a mi cámara.
