Review: I go through a pair every 6 months. I dig the style and comfort, but the soles wear out quickly. Usually by the 4 month marker the tread is bald in places and by month 6, they’re worn through.

Title: Extra-Wide Fit
Review: These Lugz canvas shoes are perfect! That is if you are searching for a wide shoe. When I typed in “extra-wide white men’s shoe” into Amazon search, this was the first hit. The description makes no note of the width of the shoe, so I was extremely skeptical. But, it was exactly what I was looking for. For reference sake, Nike’s wide width shoes fit my feet perfectly. Unfortunately, Nike doesn’t sell an all-white canvas shoe. I have the hardest time finding shoes that fit, so I ordered a second pair for next summer. I am actually considering ordering a third pair considering how hard it is to find actual wide shoes that fit and that a pair of these shoes cost less than lunch for two at Chipotle.Pros: Fitment (wide width), true to size, style and pricing.Cons: Very low arches. However, this is common for this shoe type. A pair of Dr. Scholls orthotics does the trick to remedy that problem. Another con is their ability to stay clean. I guess that depends strictly on the wearer. They are white canvas, so don’t forget to spray them with water/stain repellant.A description of the width of the shoe would be advatageous for future buyers Amazon/Lugz. Just saying…

Review: Nice looking, comfortable sneaker and actually available in size 15 US unlike Sketchers in NZ. However, after 6 months regular but light use (office work) the sole is almost completely worn through to the cavities, and the rear white rim is pulling away from the rest of the sole on the RH shoe, which you can feel when you walk. Both shoes also have a few punctures in the fabric that have grown over time. They just aren’t made very well. Would not buy again sadly. For perspective I also use two pairs of Asos shoes purchased in 2018 and 2020 (7 and 5 years old) in the office – both of these are still going and refusing to die, having needed only new laces.
