Title: Old, Stale, Definitely Not The Same
Review: The product arrived in time, and I was excited to finally get some Turkish Taffy. I opened my favorite flavor first which is banana, let me back up, I tried to crack it before opening it, didn’t happen. the candy was really stuck to the paper, and one end was kinda like melted down. I bit off a piece and quickly went over to the trash can to spit it out .I put the rest of the bars in the fridge. I figured now that it’s cold, maybe the candy will taste better. I cracked up the chocolate first put it in a zip lock bag before I opened it. It was also really stuck, and the candy came out Crumbled very very tiny pieces crumbs. then tried the strawberry, cracked it tasted it, and spit it out tasted worse than the banana. I used to eat Turkish Taffy all the time. This stuff has a strange taste, and the consistency is totally different. I really don’t think this company Bonomo is using the same recipe, I don’t think they are still making the candy( Does anybody know?). I will be throwing out the remaining bars, in my opinion, it’s not edible really stale. The bars were packed professionally in a box , and the seller sent it out on time, but the product is a no go. I wasted $24 and will be buying Laffy Taffy from now on I think Turkish Taffy is in the books

Title: God I love these, but not nearly as much as my dentist does.
Review: I have to give these up I’m afraid. They are going the way of the caramels, the white rabbits and the salt water taffy. God they taste good.After having a new implant ($6000) and crown ($1000) I did not learn my lesson. The next tooth to go got me another implant and crown but at the bargain price of $3500 since I didn’t need any bone grafting.This week, it pulled out my bridge and got me a new root canal ($1000), but they were able to reuse the bridge.I love this taffy, but I can’t afford it anymore. For those of you with fresh strong teeth: Have at it!

Title: Turkish taffy is impossible to find in stores anymore.
Review: I love Turkish taffy and can only seem to find it on line nowadays. The only bad thing is that the candy stuck to the wrapper and was a pain to unwrap. I figured out that if you soak it in warm water for awhile it’s much easier to unwrap.

Title: Still the same wonderful taste but..
Review: I adore this taffy from over 50 years ago but the packaging is awful! You really have to work to peel it off of the cardboard. It used to come in folded foil wrapping so you could smack it and open it and enjoy.

Title: NO NO NO DON’T BUY THESE
Review: If you plan on purchasing these….. DON’T. The last two times I have ordered these taffy bars, they have been a complete flop. The taffy is very light (not hard) and the cardboard is stuck to EVERY SINGLE BAR. So, like the last package that I bought, they were ALL thrown in the trash can. Too bad because those are a good product…. just packaged poorly. No more buying these from Amazon. Why are they so melted all over the cardboard and it is embedded into the candy? Waste of money and aggravation. Now to go onto another candy company. What ever happened to the REAL TURKISH TAFFY that cracks when you hit it on the counter or table or wherever? This is soft and melted into the cardboard. IT IS ALL IN THE TRASH NOW. A BIG WASTE OF MONEY…. TWICE. NEVER AGaIN.

Title: Brings back my childhood
Review: Creamy, rich and satisfying, it’s a blast from the past. Penny candy stores with lots of delicious sweets to pick from. All the flavors are great and I am enjoying this as a treat. Frozen is so refreshing.

Title: Don’t bother.
Review: I’ve had (3) bars. One of each flavor. The condition of the bars in the wrapper indicates that they had to been partially melted or heated/cooled. Just aren’t that good. Don’t have the same taste or bite anymore. Froze 2 of them and they break into 100,000 tiny pencil tip pieces. I’m betting that the “corn syrup” in it is HFCS. Shame that Amazon’s policy is no food returns or I’d ask for a refund. I’d give them zero stars if I could
