Review: The instructions are pretty bad, but pairing was intuitive. It was so intuitive I don’t even quite remember what I did. I think what I did was: Turn your radio station to one that has static, then you long press the center button on the unit (the button with the phone icon), and wait until it starts blinking which shows that it’s in “settings” mode. Then you use the forward and back buttons until you get it to match the numbers of the station you set your car radio to. The static should go away once they’re paired, and it should just be dead air. Then you might have to press the center button again to get it to lock the setting; I can’t remember for sure. (Pro tip: If you have more than one of these devices, even from different manufactures, set them all to the same radio station in all your vehicles. Either leave your radios set to that station, or make it a preset so you can get there easily. This this lets you pair with minimum fuss when you switch vehicles/adapters.)Paired very easily the first time, and pairs quickly on subsequent times.Really LOVE the retractable charging cables, so you can charge your phone or device right from this unit while it’s plugged in without having to fuss with cables. The cables are pretty long, too.We have a smaller bluetooth adapter for our other car and it barely sticks out of the lighter. You might think it’s better to be unobtrusive like that, but it turns out we like this one lots better. Bigger with cables wins over the smaller and sleeker, for the sheer convenience of always having those cables at hand and having them disappear when you don’t need them!The buttons for taking calls, turning on and off your music, going to the next track or the previous track, turning the volume up and down, etc. are very accessible and easy to use, even while driving. They stick out enough that you don’t even have to look away from the road, you can just reach down and tell by touch which button to push.I like that you can tilt this and configure it however works best for you and your particular car’s set up.You can turn it however you need to make the buttons more accessible, and if you don’t like the lit display (shows car’s voltage – nice!) you can even turn that away from you so that it’s not facing you. Of course, this all depends on your car’s set up and where the cigarette lighter you’re using is.This unit is pretty big compared to some, but we think it’s worth it to have those retractable charging cables. And depending on your car’s design, it’s not a problem at all.We’re very pleased with it!

Title: Just crazy how much fits into a small device!
Review: So, originally I opened the box and thought, “Oh gosh, this is big!!” but then as I learned about this charger I realized how much more it offered! It has plenty long retractable cables, both C and lightening, it has C and USB A ports, and all put out enough power to charge modern smart phones and tablets. In addition, this little dude will play songs from a USB stick, or it will bluetooth your phone, transmitting the music to your radio, AND, it allows you to receive phone calls while driving!! It tilts, so you can aim it towards or away from the driver/passenger, and also features a voltage display. Crazy that this is so all-in-one in such a small package.

Title: Shockingly impressive audio quality and charge speed!
Review: If you are like me and have an older vehicle (1996 Jeep XJ in my case) you may not have an aux input or even a tape deck to put an adapter in (let’s face it, those really don’t sound that good anyway).There are a LOT of FM transmitters out there that will let you connect a Bluetooth device to them and then broadcast it over FM to your OEM radio, however, this one does it surprisingly well!! The sou d quality is actually fantastic, far better then even my local FM radio stations sound through the same radio!The transmitter also allows you to make/answer calls through the speakers in your car. This isn’t an uncommon feature in a lot of cars anymore (my wife’s 2015 Pilot can do this from the factory) but what DOES surprise me is the quality of the call audio in both directions. I. The vehicle the call comes through the speakers crisp and without any of the wierd echo that sometimes happens with hands free in car setups. On the other end I was told my voice came in perfect and wasn’t too quiet, muffled, and had no echo. This is pretty impressive considering it’s using a built in microphone on the device and it was pretty far away plugged into my dashboard 12v outlet.The extendable cords built into it (one USB C and one Lightning) are perfect length to charge a phone even from the center of the dash. I have seen a lot of false charge current claims on devices like this too BUT this one DID charge my Samsung Galaxy Fold in “super fast charging mode”!!There is also a USB C on the face of it that will let you put your own cable into it for any other device!The USB A is actually for a memory stick and will let you plug in a USB drive full of MP3s directly in and it will play the songs from the stick! That’s actually a cool feature for times when you don’t have cell signal to use apps like Pandora or Spotify!Needless to say I was very impressed with this thing for what they have it listed for!!I will say the instructions leave something to be desired though and are REALLY small and difficult to read. I included photos of those though so you can see how the device works.

Title: Decent music quality
Review: This device has helped to decrease the clutter in my car. I no longer have both a Bluetooth device as well as a charging cable. I will say I have not used it for a phone call yet but my music wise, it does well. I like that it can be folded into different positions so it can hide under the trapdoor in my car. The retractable cable goes far enough in my car to place my phone almost to my center console.
