Title: My 4 year old loves the fables.
Review: We have gone through all the fables several times. The illustrations are pleasing to the eye. The book deserved the Caldecott award for both the stories and the beauty of the book. I know eventually, she will be reading the fables to me, having an even better understanding of each fable and its moral.

Review: My daughter got interested in fables so I thought I’d find a collection for her. I remember this one from when I was little. She loves reading them and talking about the moral of each story. Some are not as relatable to the current values of the day, but overall it’s a good book and spurs lots of interesting discussions.

Title: A Beautiful Addition
Review: Product arrived mostly unscathed. For a new book; however, it arrived damaged. Amazon needs to work on packaging their books. Arnold Lobel’s Fables is a wonderful work of art in my opinion. Although not every story is beloved, they are definitely true to his storytelling.

Title: Idealistic Tales for Children
Review: I’ve loved this book ever since I was a kid. It is probably Arnold Lobel’s most profound book (which is saying something because I’ve also read the Frog and Toad books). It gives great life lessons on how to live by, especially young kids who are learning to grow and become better people.

Review: If you like well-written children’s books with great stories and a varied vocabulary then this is the book for you!!!We took this book on holiday to read to our 3 and 5 year olds and it was the perfect choice!! It has 20 fables (non-religious), one on each page. We read two each night and they mesmerised the children. They are quirky, imaginative, comical and have great messages about how to live life.This author has also written the ‘frog and toad’ series, which are easily our top favourite books for the same reasons.
