Title: Lightweight yet Sturdy
Review: The tripod is light, yet sturdy. Yes there is an expensive piece of gear up there….um spread out the legs. The ball head is easy to manipulate and stays put once locked in place. The legs telescope easily and lock fast. The tripod stays in place once situated and I’ve used for astrophotography and long exposure with great results. Seems very functional, and fits perfectly in the bag when you fold it just the way it came in the first place. ( reverse the legs over the ball head). Overall I’m very satisfied.

Title: Great
Review: Nice sturdy tripod that supports my Canon cameras even with a 600 mm lens attached. Yet small enough to fit nicely into a carry on.

Title: It’s great.
Review: Upgraded from a super cheap tripod to this and it’s a night and day difference. Light, maneuverable, and rock solid this tripod is fantastic. In addition to cameras and phones, you can also mount a crossline laser to it to do DIY stuff around your house. It’s quite versatile!

Title: Great tripod!
Review: Great tripod that is made with metal materials that are really nice. The only complaint I have is in regards to the carrying bag that came with. The zippers are cheap and break pretty easily.

Title: Excellent light weight tripod
Review: I am just getting into photography and I wanted a light tripod to carry with me, I have used other heavier tripods for stargazing, so I have a little experience with tripods. Although light, this tripod is stable, easy to use, and seems sturdy.

Title: A Feature Rich Carbon Travel Tripod
Review: Very sturdy 4 section carbon tripod. Separate locking knobs on the head for panning and variable resistance on the ball head. With a max payload of 17.63 lbs, it will hold any of my cameras up to 4×5.I’ve been using an aluminum Manfrotto 190 for the last ten years, and the BeFree Advanced compliments it well. I appreciate the fact that the head’s qr plate clamp is compatible with both Arca Swiss, and backwards compatible with my old RC2 plates. The legs deploy smoothly and provide a sturdy base, the spider connectors lock at 3 angles. The center column can be reversed for low work, and once you get used to it, the twist lock for the center column is a great feature.Usually when I travel, I carry a MF camera; a Rollei or 500 C/M, and a 4×5 camera; either my Graflex Super Graphic or a metal Wista field camera. The BeFree Advanced fits nicely in my kit, providing a lightweight and sturdy base for the cameras I take farther afield, allowing me to relegate my trusty old 190 to cameras that I tend to use…er…closer to the car, like my Century 8×10…
