Review: Very quality – but the actual grip on the phone is very finnicky with a case – I also have a 15 pro max which doesnt help. Its stretched to the limit and has ro be seated perfectly – if a little off it can fall out. I am actually a fan of the app so far, the facial recognition and options are cool. Gesture control sucks.

Review: The 3rd party software is horrible. And is written in Chinese. The device itself doesn’t perform well and is flimsy and wobbly. It feels well made but the functionality is NOT GOOD at all. They’re better brands and companies that have better product. I’d rather spend a little extra then to have this pointless paper weight laying around. Waste of money…. Title: Decent hardware let down by a non functional app.
Review: The hardware, itself, is nice and has a good quality feel to it, but is too small to accommodate a phone in it’s case, so maybe better to use only with old phones. I bought this in order to get stabilized footage to motion track in Blender. Although the stabilization is decent and I feel it may be well suited to this purpose, if I decide to expand my use case, it will fall short due to the fact that the app will not even open on my phone. After installing and uninstalling it several times, I am constantly met with the AOCHUAN has stopped message. This failure renders all of the tracking features useless, as well as the “inception mode” and moving time lapse feature which is something I was really excited about. I was excited for this, unfortunately though, as of now, I am considering returning it.

Review: This is a fun little tool, and it does work well.It does work best though once the app is installed on the phone and your phone is connected via bluetooth.The control setup is decent and everything is controlled with the right thumb, the build is orientated around the right hand, although if you have to you can function with a little stretching with the left hand.Since there is only one thumb joystick that functions by number of presses, this is something you will need to check in the manual, and if you do not use this often you might forget what 1,2,3 presses do.But that is simply the result of making a device that has a simplified interface.The whole device works fairly well and with face, body or object recognition it does work well, so long as you do not move to fast, I find with fast movement it will not respond quickly enough but with moderate movement it can track well.The led light that comes with is OK, the lighting is fine and it has a range of colours, but if you want white and you accidentally skip past, you will need to scroll through all the colours to get back to it.The Extension and tripod are separate but pretty decent, although I would prefer if the tripod was big, I worry that a strong breeze could overwhelm it.The quality of everything in the set is great everything feels like it should handle regular use and keep going. I am very happy with the build quality, it is not amazing but it is very good.I do like the storage bag, it is nicely padded and everything has its place and nothing will be slipping away.I have not had any other gimbal before to I am unable to compare this to anything else.Overall though, this is quite nice, it has a decent response to my actions, the movement is smooth and the software is easy to use and not cumbersome. The whole setup feels geared to getting the job done without any fuss.
