Title: To choose for occ or not… That is the question.
Review: I bought these pencil pouches to put in my operation christmas child shoeboxes. I was looking for something affordable and that wouldnt fall apart the first time the child used them. I liked that these pouches were brightly colored and affordable ( they were on sale which further added to why I choose them) as well as the reviews. I made sure to check all the zippers upon receiving and was pleasantly suprised that the zipper opened and closed pretty smoothly ( maybe slightly better than dollar tree quality). However, I did get 4 that the zipper was made on the side on the pouch and not directly on top making it difficult to open and close the zipper or not budge at all. I was disappointed. I felt like money was wasted because 4 of them were unusable. The fact that I’m on a tight budget compounded with the idea that despite paying for them 4 children now will not have school supplies. I contacted the seller with my issue and they responded within minutes. They sent a replacement after showing pictures of the issue. I appreciate the sellers help however I still just wasnt 100% satisfied with this particular product, though I do recommend, i think i want to experiment and try other pouches to see how they compare. I think just the seller alone would make this a no brainer of a purchase but also the item gets the job done. I would recommend but caution to be mindful of checking the zippers.*pros- if your buying in bulk these are budget friendly- i think the bright colors would make kids even more excited for school- I think the small size makes it easy to pack flat especially for smaller sizes(4 yr old).- the seller is willing to help which increases buyer confidence because you know they will assist if any issue arises. Even if you dont have problems just the fact that seller is willing to help is comforting and makes for a easy buying experience*cons- the material is mesh and I have to be careful in packing in shoeboxes and storing that it doesnt get snagged, poked, or ripped by a spiral notebook for instance- the zipper, though not the worst, isnt the best- I dont think this is going to last the child for years but again when on a budget and buying in bulk its the best we can do. I just hope they get as much use out of it as they can.Photos: ( I look for pencil pouches that can fit pencils with eraser tops. These fit with a little room left over)-I have packed these items and the pouch is still flat-7 pencils with eraser tops- 1 pen- 1 eraser- 2 sharpeners ( I was showing with the large one(pink) that it can fit larger but it may not pack as flat)* packing tip:-if your box is really full and you cant get your packed pencil pouch to pack well take out the contents of the pouch (pencils/pens etc) and put them flat in the shoebox by themselves and then pack the pouch separately.
