Title: Mostly good, but some inconsistency in cook level from can-to-can
Review: These are good but not great canned peas. I purchased several cans and found that the cook level varies from can-to-can. Some were cooked perfectly to a tender but not overly mushy consistency. A few cans, however, had peas that were undercooked. They weren’t underdone to the point of being crunchy, but they had a more firm texture than I preferred. They were notably more firm than other brands of canned peas I’ve used. The taste was good — just the texture was affected.One star down for the inconsistent cook level, but otherwise a good tasting option for canned peas that is usually priced below the name brand options.

Title: There great , when wrapped and not dented
Review: Usually, they arrive perfectly, I love them. They’re fresh definitely five stars. , But this time there was no bubble wrap no protection and four cans were dented very badly, That’s not Amazon’s fault that’s the people shipping with not using bubble wrap or any kind of wrap at all, But the peas are delicious

Title: NOT harvested at Peak of ripeness.
Review: Barely edible, if you didn’t have anything else to eat. DO NOT ignore the reports of mealy/grainy textures. When looking at the peas, you will see the color is not ripe (light/pale green) and does not look like the other mature peas. You can see the few fully Green peas mixed in with the unripe ones. If you have ever cooked dried beans without soaking, that is the texture. I cooked them another 20 Minutes above a simmer. Then let sit in fridge overnight and nuked for another 3-5 minutes and still bleh. Totally unappealing. I would return but would cost more in gas and time. Plus they were in a box with no packing so all of them are pretty dented.Do not buy.Amazon you really screwed up with this lot. I would fire your purchasing agent or find out who paid them off to accept this crap.
