Title: Bang for your buck.
Review: Has really good clear picture along with good night vision. Captures everything in 10 seconds intervals if there is even a slight movement. We opted for the solar panel option and it has not let us down yet, charges in the day and runs with zero problems at night. Gives a big wide view, perfect for front of the house. Easy to use, easy installation for anyone that’s into diy. High quality camera , definitely a good value. App is easy to set up, and super easy to use.

Title: Camera hardware is excellent – Device compatibility could be better
Review: First the pros of this camera… The camera hardware you get for this price is of excellent quality. The camera seems very well made, same for the solar panel which plugs into the camera via USB-C to charge the device. The image quality is decent. Night mode works very well when in infrared mode (default). The EOOEIES companion app allows for easy setup of the device and viewing videos. The camera also offers a built-in alarm, light, and 2-way communication. It also offers a micro-SD slot to store recorded videos locally.Now for the cons…If you are a computer power user like myself and would like to manage your camera from your PC, you can forget it with this device. There seems to be no EOOEIES web portal, or even software to install on Windows or Mac to easily manage your camera. You must use your phone. Seems ridiculous when I have a PC with dual 24″ displays, yet to access my security camera footage, I must go grab my 7″ smartphone, and load up the EOOEIES app to review my videos. To get videos from the camera to my PC, I must download them through the EOOEIES app, connect my phone to my PC, and transfer the video files over. A smartphone is required to use this thing, period (aside from an Android emulator). Adding the ability to access the EOOEIES service through PC/browser would be a plus. I believe a lot of these budget security cameras seem to suffer the same lack of functionality.And then there’s also the concern on how much this device relies on its cloud based service just to function. The developer could discontinue the service at any time, and once that happens, I believe this camera would become a paperweight. Also, the service is based from a questionable provider most likely out of China. My work’s internet firewall has this camera’s service blocked (so I must use mobile data to view videos from the camera while I am at work). It would be nice if this unit could also function as an IP camera, where you could stream its video to a device locally.Speaking of the cloud service, my recommendation is to purchase a micro-SD card and install it in the camera. I tried the plus plan, and have already canceled the renewal. Ther “AI recognition” is questionable at best. Oftentimes, it identifies my banana trees within view as “a person wandering around”, and has identified a pet and parked vehicle when neither existed. They sell this device for cheap to try to hook you into paying for a subscription. This again comes back to how the device relies on its companion app to function.I’m on the fence on whether I will purchase additional cameras for other parts of my property. It does a good job, but is limited by its reliance on the cloud service and the requirement of a smartphone. If you only use a smartphone, you’ll feel right at home with this camera. If you primarily use a PC, you might be disappointed.

Review: Mi sono preso diversi mesi prima di recensire questo prodotto e devo dire che è molto valido.Per la fascia di rapporto tra qualità e prezzo in cui viene inserito, rappresenta una valida e affidabile soluzione.Ho già avuto prodotti simili a questo prima ma, posso affermare con tranquillità che è di gran lunga superiore ai precedenti.Non è necessario un istallazione laboriosa mediante fili o altro, basta fissare camera e pannello collegandoli tra loro e registrare la camera sulla WiFi di casa ed il gioco è fatto.La confezione contiene la camera, viteria, cavo di ricarica USB e pannello solare.La camera da esterno funziona mediante app su cellulare come tutti i prodotti simili con tecnologia WiFi, è possibile registrare su SD o di base su Cloud con quantità di dati limitata o altrimenti, tramite abbonamento supplementare, è possibile aumentare lo storage su esso.Come tutte le telecamere di questo tipo, ha un leggero ritardo nel rilevare la presenza, diciamo uno scarto di qualche secondo ma è del tutto tollerabile, la registrazione dell’ evento può avere durata massima di 20 secondi perché questa non registra in modo continuo ma si attiva solamente al rilevamento di una presenza nel suo cono d’azione. I video registrati possono essere scaricati nell’album dell’ app o sulla memoria del cellulare.Per chi cerca un prodotto di buona qualità ad un prezzo accessibile, questo prodotto, fa al caso giusto.Consiglio!
