Title: Plugged it in, and it works
Review: I bought this hoping to be able to hook up my laptop, and my headphones to my home computer.I plugged it in, downloaded drivers, and it works.I’ve had some weird things at the start with my headphones, Sennheisers both.To get really good sound, I’ve had to go to MSFT, and useSpatial Sound (Dolby Atmos for Headphones)This gives me an equalizer to tune the headphones to the TV output, my ears, which don’t hear certain areas of sound well, and the headphone balance themselves..DTS Sound Unbound is another possibility. I haven’t bought the Dolby Atmos yet. I’m going to try the DTS product first, and see which one I like best. Went with Dolby Atmos.Also may try Windows Sonic for headphones.I haven’t needed any tech support for this product, so I’m giving it 5 stars, but, that is because the product worked, and I didn’t need them.Bluetooth mouse and headphones connect, and work great!

Title: Another good USB Bluetooth adapter from TechKey
Review: To function properly you must download the updated TechKey Driver from its website.Also, need to Restart your computer. It might be Plug n Play however without inserting the correct Driver you will get cracked, stopped music, hesitations, and limited range.My Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra $269 and Sennheiser Momentum 4 $229 via their corresponding App (Bose and Sennheiser) the only codec that appears is aptX. So what happened to SBC, ACC, and LE Audio? 2024 Holiday sales at Bose and Sennheiser own websites.5.3 BT “Bluetooth” technology is flimsy since the most reliable or dependable is 5.0.I have MEE audio Matrix Cinema headphones $99 and Avantree Orbit Pro $95 connected to our 2015 Samsung 55-inch SMART TV but that is for my wife to use.The TechKey 5.0 USB BT adapter that I purchased 3 or 4 years ago is Plug-n-Play.To make the TechKey 5.3 work, need Driver, Restart PC, then go into Settings and make certain you have selected the correct unit. Switching between BT headphones is slightly challenging and a nuisance. Newer does not necessarily equate to being better.I did have ZEXMTE Bluetooth USB adapter, cannot recall how well that worked because I have 6 desktops and 4 laptops, hard to keep track off things when they are small gadgets.I’d rather have CISCO or Linksys since I like their Wi-Fi products. I returned Avantree C81-PC because it was so bad and was very disappointed.I recommend giving TechKey USB BT 5.3 adapter a try.

Title: Exceeds the lifetime of my previous BT 5.3 adapter
Review: I previously had ordered a 5.3 BT adapter from some company that didn’t even bother to put a brand name on the adapter itself. It worked for about one day, then would sporadically drop the connection. I tried reconnecting, which worked sometimes. Then that technique stopped working, so I would restart all the bluetooth services (Windows 10). That worked for a little while, then the adapter started to disconnect so quickly that I gave up. Eventually I threw it away.I was now stuck because I could not find another BT adapter that expressly supported BT 5.3 (for better syncing of sound to video). Then, having waited enough time for the market to make some progress, I saw the TechKey 5.3 BT adapter on Amazon, and thought I would give it a try. Well, I’ve had it for almost a month, and it has not yet disconnected after syncing with my headphones.So far this one is a winner in my book. I don’t really care about whether it’s easy or hard to install (this one was pretty easy, btw). What matters is whether I wasted money for a something that doesn’t work. If it turns out that this adapter lasts only a month and a day, I’ll be back to update my review. So, TechKey, you are on notice 🙂

Title: A basic and functional bluetooth adapter.
Review: I cant speak about RANGE or anything because I am using it at the desk but I use this seated in my office to connect a Dualsense controller to the PC (and through a third party program use it wirelessly with remote play on PS5)- for that this works perfectly, responsively. Cheap and arrived fast. So far no complaints. Its small enough to plug into the PC and forget about it if your PC doesnt include bluetooth.
