Title: Excellent math book
Review: This is the best math book I have found that offers a plain language explanation of these 6th grade math concepts. We tried other books before using this one and I wish I had started with this one! I would have saved time and money by doing so. This man explains the concepts in an easy way. We used an additional workbook just for the practice problems because this book is mostly for explaining the concepts which was greatly needed by us! I highly recommend this book for those struggling to relearn their math skills from the past and for those teaching their 6th graders these concepts for the first time.

Title: SOLVED ALL OUR MATH PROBLEMS
Review: I love this book. My son school has google chrome books with the math workbook being an online only. He has a 7″ in screen which makes it impossible for me to help him with math homework. Last night was the FIRST time we haven’t argued over homework. Easy to understand, Table of Contents in the back leads you right where you need to be. For those who struggle to see (ME) its perfect because its in large print. The only downside I can see is not enough Algebra but I don’t care. I’m so impressed I’m going to order the Algebra book. Great Price too!

Title: Great refresher or intro tool!
Review: I haven’t been in a math class in over 6 years so I was interested in a little refresher book. This book covers so many topics. Each page has a description of the topic, a couple of examples and then a page or half a page of practice problems, with an answer key in the back. Topics include: arithmetic operations, fractions, decimals, percents, proportions, variables, relationships, data analysis, coordinate graphs, geometry, finance, answer key, glossary, and Index. Has 240 pages of lessons.

Title: Math -the narrative.
Review: I am in the process of collecting his books. I have pretty much decided I am using his books to teach pretty much everything he teaches. He speaks our language. I swear he can read our brain. My son is twice exceptional ASD/gifted. At 12 he reads his books and it is just so easy to understand. He tells math like a story we need to hear and we just get it . Two of mine already using his books and in process of trying to set aside money to buy the rest. I have four Autistic mathematically inclined kids. These are what we use and need. I have to have physical copies because my kids need to hold the books . Not digital.

Review: I purchased this book for my 12 year old daughter, who is currently being homeschooled, and was recently diagnosed with ADHD. I am very impressed with this book. It is clear, without extra words, and shows you several examples with step by step instructions. Additionally, the answers are in the back of the book with every step they took to get that answer. If you’re not sure how they got the answers you can work backwards because all the steps are there to show you. For a child with ADHD having each lesson broken down into smaller chunks makes this way less overwhelming than doing sheets and sheets of examples. My daughter successfully builds on each new math skill without feeling overwhelmed and shutting down. Math has become tear free and she feels successful which is a win win. Before each week I read through the lessons and I am reminded of anything I have forgotten. Parents who don’t take a minute to reteach themselves this math are not going to be able to have an objective attitude towards this book. You have to read it over before you sit down with your child to teach them. If you start off by telling your kid this is too hard, they aren’t even going to try. I love this book and my child is learning in a manner that isn’t overwhelming for her short attention span. I can’t say enough about these books (I have another one of Chris’ books I also love).

Review: I bought this book for my grade 8 son who is struggling in math class. I needed to reteach him the basics, so he could grasp the academics at hand. This textbook had math that my highschooler graduate struggled to comprehend with limited information on how to actually solve the problems. This book is better as “math sheets” or math training, and not so much as a book to learn how to complete the math.
