Title: Grammar and Writing Style Matter
Review: The story is fast paced and really reaches out and grabs you, but the changes from past to present tense are such a distraction. They are not for literary or story telling purposed that I can see. They just totally take away from what has the potential to be an amazing book

Title: Uses Lord’s name in vain. Unrealistic immediate post-EMP scenarios
Review: Only a few short chapters in, the event happened – didn’t get a chance to even get to know much at all about the main characters or their lives. Then, within HOURS of the EMP, there was total chaos – with a man being beaten by thugs who then wanted to sell his wife (or was it daughter?); and a totally prepared advance terrorist army on the ground mowing everyone down, and a mob surrounding a running jeep type vehicle. Totally unrealistic for the first hours after an EMP when most people wouldn’t even know what it was about. Then, 7 short chapters in, it started with a few times of using the Lord’s name in vain. I quit reading there.
