Title: Should be standard on all ovens!
Review: Whoever designed our kitchen put our oven at toddler-height (2 year old pictured). Since shes been standing I’ve been terrified to use our oven, afraid she’ll use the handle for balance or pull out of curiosity and get burned. This was such a cheap solution and works so well to give me a little peace of mind. Obviously she’s never unsupervised in the kitchen but knowing she can’t just yank the door open let’s me breathe a bit. And I like that the button pushing to open it is very subtle so she hasn’t figured out how it works.

Title: Toddler proofing the house- no brainer
Review: I would recommend anyone with a toddler to have one of these. Absolute genius idea! Soon I will have 2 under 2 and this is just one of those things that can ease my mind a bit. This keeps the oven closed!My little monkey would try to pull the door open and either it could have possibly flipped the whole oven on him or it’s obviously it gets hot, just a no brainer to have with little ones around. This is just one of those baby proofing things you need.Fits perfect, easy to use, worth the money!

Title: Don’t bother – cheap and easy to pop off.
Review: We were looking for a product to help us in preventing our 10 month old son from being able to open both the oven door and the drawer at the bottom of the range, and based on the number of reviews and overall rating score decided to with this model.What a waste. I was expecting them to be almost bulky, a bit too much, but when I saw the boxes for them, I knew I was ready to be disappointed. They’re a tad over 3” long and are very light.Our range (Café) has an angled face where the knobs and control panel are. That automatically ruled out the use of one on the top to prevent the oven door from being opened.For the drawer, on our range there is a gap of almost an inch between the bottom of the door and the top of the drawer. That leaves us about a quarter inch over hang. The other issue there is when we have it unlocked, the door can only open about 1/2 way before the lock comes in contact with the drawer and pops right off.This product was not the solution for us, and honestly shouldn’t be for you either. I was expecting more for $10/each. Would have rather put that $20 on a parlay on Hard Rock Bet.
