Title: Fantastic Unit for the Price
Review: For $8.99, I was looking at this purchase only as a test case to see how well everything connected etc. between my macbook pro and my Bose Wave CD player with no Bluetooth. I figured that once I knew that everything worked well, that I would invest in a more expensive receiver with better sound quality. But this one is doing the job very well, and I’m perfectly happy with the sound quality. I did some quick comparisons with this, plugging directly into the minijack, and I don’t notice a huge difference. True audiophiles probably would, but a true audiophile wouldn’t be using Bluetooth in the first place. The battery life is pretty good, although I usually have it plugged in. Even the latency isn’t that bad when I’m watching youtube videos, etc., although I’m sure that the small lag would be more of an issue for gamers who would want things like an aptX codec in their receivers. All in all, I’m very pleasantly surprised with this and would recommend trying it before investing in a more expensive receiver.Quick addendum: sometimes when the unit is plugged into the USB power and has automatically powered itself down after some time, it’s a bit glitchy to switch it back on. Simple fix though. Just unplug from USB power, switch it on, and plug it back in. Hope that’s helpful.

Title: Works well enough but sometimes randomly disconnects
Review: I have this paired with my Macbook laptop and wired in to a set of old fashioned 4.1 speakers sitting across the room. The sound quality is fine. I do have to leave this plugged in to its mini-USB power source (the battery is tiny). The only issue is my Macbook occasionally disconnects from these. I don’t know if that’s my laptop’s fault or if it’s this unit’s fault. It only happens when I have nothing playing at the moment (i.e. iTunes is paused), it never happens while I’m listening to music or watching something on youtube or whatever else. The built-in voice thingy announces “Disconnected!” when that happens. Then it either reconnects on its own (half of the time), I need to click on the bluetooth icon and force it to reconnect, or it doesn’t reconnect and after a minute the unit turns itself off (after announcing “power OFF!” lol).Other than that, it works fine.

Title: Good device, poor quality control
Review: First, this device paired immediately and perfectly and is 100% functional as a Bluetooth receiver. I use it to make wireless headphones out of an old wired pair, and to act as a wireless receiver for a DJ sound system so it’s not tethered to a laptop. One less wire to mess with.Instructions are adequate. Better than most Chinese-translated manuals. And speaking of wires, the included USB to micro USB cable used to charge the device was defective. It would not charge from multiple USB ports on the laptop or using other plug-in wall or car USB chargers. So it’s not a USB port issue – it’s the cable. This wasn’t critical as I had a number of micro USB cables available, and you probably do too. But if I didn’t there would have been no way to charge the receiver (it came charged at 70%) and it would have been returned as defective. So it gets 3 stars. 5 for flawless Bluetooth, 0 for the bad cable, I rounded up.

Title: Cheap, too cheap to bother returning, otherwise I would.
Review: I have at least two other devices like this that I’ve used for most of the past 2 or 3 years to convert some nice wired gaming headsets into bluetooth headsets for use online. I love them, but after a few years, battery life is shortening, so I’m looking for new options (as that model is no longer made). I thought this was a reasonable option, but it’s really not.Pros: Small form factor, pairs with most bluetooth sources, comes with converter.Cons: TONS. Battery life is quite short (under 3 hours). In stereo mode the sound is nice, but there’s upwards of a 2 SECOND DELAY, making it worthless for anything but listening to music. In headset mode, there’s no delay, but it sounds like the audio is playing through a wet cloth. This isn’t just mono, so the mic can use the other channel for return bandwidth. It’s also cropped on both the high and low end, making it sound muffled and dull. So those are your choices: Reasonable but delayed stereo audio, or muffled mono with no delay and a mic (on device).I’ll note that I tested this with at least 3 devices, including a phone, a laptop with BT3, and a desktop with BT5. All three had the same issues. None of these issues are present on my other BT receivers with the same sources; all others provide reasonable audio in mono/headset mode with no delays. So it’s not the transmitters or drivers doing this, it’s this junky hardware.TL;DR: Unless you’re using this JUST for listening to podcasts or music, skip this one. If it were more expensive, I’d bother with returning it. But it’s frankly just more hassle that it’s worth at this price.

Title: Long battery, easy to sync
Review: Quick pro/conPros:Very small, light and easy to transport. Has a little clip built on.Very easy to sync and I never have issues with that.Sounds great, reproduces digital sound just fine.Cons:Skipping to the next track and volume are same button, long hold is the volume…not a fan, wish this was reversed. I rather long hold to go to next track and make click adjustments to volume.Volume is low compared to other device outputs. It doesn’t power enough to my liking on output for passive headphones. Yet, that would save some people’s ears.

Title: Keep your favorite wired headphones Bluetooth connection
Review: I lost my first one and absolutely LOVE my old school headphones. This allows me to use my wired headphones wireless connection to my iPhone. I have a Lightning to Headphone adapter but it is built to break. This is smart and easy to use. I had to get another when my first got lost.

Review: The little 3.5 mm auxiliary adapter doesn’t fit the plug to my headphones – Audio Technica ATH MSR7. That’s the main reason why I bought them. Doesn’t work unless I plug it at the other end of the cable, which doesn’t make sense. I got it to have a wireless headphone.

Review: The included instructions were for a slightly different version of the Device. Presumably it has been updated since these were printed. It paired with my iPhone and appeared as a connected Bluetooth device however attempting to connect to the device as an AirPlay sound output just fails. You get to hear a beep through the headphones but that’s it.I tried it separately with headphones and an amplifier, and none of them worked.I tried changing the Bluetooth settings to recognise it as various headphones and car stereo connection types, but they all failed to produce sound.Like another review I quite enjoyed reading, this thing does seem to be a waste of perfectly good atoms.

Review: Well, for the price I can’t complain. But battery is very low, barely reaching 3 hours of listening and sometimes you have to twist the jack connector to have sound on both earbuds.Usable but do not recommend.
