Title: This comb works!
Review: Finally, a tool that helps eliminate the exudate that develops in the corners of my Poodle & Bichon fur babies. Tried using the soaking solution with cotton pads. Fluids increased the staining areas, plus took more time than an impatient Bichon puppy will tolerate.The comb is gentle, designed correctly (gentle mid-comb curve) with soft flexible tines. I don’t hesitate to use near the eye area as tines are close together & not sharp. Great for the day-to-day grooming that is necessary to keep my “kids” tidy & healthy.

Title: Won’t poke their eyes!
Review: Works very well. I have 2 Maltese puppies who tend to get food and gunk on their mustache and beards. It is especially helpful around the eyes. Makes it very clean. It helps with tangles. Easy to grip especially when fighting with a puppy. What I like is the edges are rounded. I have one from another company and the edges are more squared and I’m always afraid I’m going to poke them in the eyes. But with this product I don’t have to worry about that. I have used the comb on the top of their heads which has longer hair, eyes, ears, beard , mustache and even my smaller puppies tail. Very useful. Highly recommend this product!

Title: AMAZING & needed tool for painless de-knotting!
Review: Recommend buying two!!! If you can’t find it , you panic when your Maltese fur baby has tangles. Great for around eyes and the face area. Since it is small, he doesn’t get nervous with this like he does with a large comb. It’s effective and works well for grooming Great value for money

Review: [PETHROOM] Professional Eye Comb for Pets is a fabulous tool for cleaning pet eye discharge. My Yorkie is not easy to be able to clean his eye discharge. It’s very sticky but after applying a warm wet cloth first to soften it, this comb worked wonderfully and best of all, he didn’t mind the procedure, which is definitely a plus. All the others that I have purchased didn’t work as well as this. I highly reccommend this product.

Title: Safe tool for eye grooming small dogs
Review: For my small dogs with hair near the eyes, I find this comb extremely helpful. The three Cairns love to dig, and with their noses deep in the earth, STUFF gathers at the moist corners of their eyes. That is such a sensitive area to clean, and removing all the grit and mud is made easier by the rounded ends of this comb.I had a similar comb, fine teeth like this one, but the ends were squared off. Holding still while I cleaned was not an easy task for me. Then I saw this more humane alternative, and ordered it right away. It has proven to be an improvement in grooming as I no longer fear injuring their eyes with anything metal. Reasonably priced and durable. It is now my choice for eye grooming my four small dogs…..all diggers!

Title: Great for removing crud and boogers from around my Yorkie’s eyes!
Review: Years ago, my Yorkie’s groomer gave me a small, L-shaped, plastic comb to clean around his eyes. Since it came from the groomer, I assumed it was “state of the art” in terms of the design of these things.But my little guy’s eye discharge has worsened with age, and it was becoming very difficult to remove, especially if I missed a day. You could tell the comb I was using was very uncomfortable for him, and it wasn’t even terribly effective as there was always stuff left deep in the inner corners that I could only coax out with repeated applications of a warm, wet cloth to the area and lots of (inflammatory) wiping.When I saw this comb with its curved shape and realized the ends of the tines were blunted so as not to be too sharp, I thought it might be a vast improvement. Boy, was it ever!My dog no longer jerks away and tries to hide when it’s eye-cleaning time and sometimes even seems to (gulp) enjoy the process! After a week, my technique has improved to the point that I am able to remove ALL crud with very little resistance from the subject.I keep the comb with my Yorkie’s “travel bag” (LOL, I take him virtually everywhere with me and like to have his essentials handy at all times.) So I’ll be buying another of these to keep in the tub for bath-time convenience. Great product!
