Title: Great battery replacement with one caveat
Review: Battery life is amazing so far. Replacement wasn’t too hard, but the old battery was swollen so badly, it had done most of the work removing the back cover for me.I highly recommended watching a YouTube video first before doing this, as I did end up cracking the back cover, but I keep it inside a Spigen case so it doesn’t really matter.I almost removed one star because this is a replacement kit and it lacks adhesive for putting the cover back on. Not a deal breaker for me since I keep it in a tight case, but that might be a concern for someone else.

Title: Not 4200 MAH
Review: I was skeptical from the beginning when I saw “4200 MAH” in the description, but I figured it will be at least the capacity of the original manufacturer’s battery. I was even more suspicious when I received the battery and the 4200 MAH disclaimer was printed on a sticker stuck to the battery by the seller rather than printed on the battery itself. The installation tools they give you are not the greatest, especially for getting the back cover off (which is the most challenging part). I ended up using the small flat head screwdriver to pry the cover off and I scratched up the cover quite a bit doing it. What you need is one of those razor thin plastic cards you see in the instructional videos. Something that can get in between and be dragged through the adhesive longways so it does not reattach to easily. Anyway, I got it done somehow and after running Accubattery for a couple of days my suspicions have been confirmed. It rates this as a 3036 MAH battery. The OEM battery is 2915 MAH so I would not be surprised if it’s the same battery. Maybe slightly better, but I suspect it’s the same. Either way it’s better than the battery I had. Just not a fan of bogus capacity claims.

Title: Battery was Dead on Arrival
Review: Finally got around to installing it. Turns out the battery is dead on arrival. I verified this by reinstalling the old battery which turned on the device but the new battery wouldn’t turn on the device at all.I should have installed it immediately but too bad I missed the return period.

Title: More like 2700 mAh
Review: Like many of the ‘upgraded’ batteries sold on Amazon, this one is certainly misrepresenting its capacity. After 11 charge cycles and 2 weeks of use, AccuBattery is showing 2694 mAh capacity, which is significantly less than the original OEM battery (2915) and far, far less than the 4200 promised for the product. Overall, for the price, this battery is fine for me. But I do wish Amazon did more to police misrepresentation of products sold on its site. Claiming 4200 mAh and being only 2700 mAh means I got only 65% of the product that I was promised.

Title: Easy to install and works
Review: We ordered this to replace the battery in my husband’s Google Pixel 3 phone. He did follow a how-to video on Youtube to help along, but this kit had everything he needed. It was no problem to take everything apart (he did need to use a little heat…which was in the video). There are glue tabs, which go inside to help secure the new battery, which did give him a little fiddling trouble but not really enough to speak of.The entire thing was done in less than 30 mins. and works wonderfully. Even his screen is brighter than before.

Title: Good battery, too much adhesive
Review: This battery is some 40 odd percent more energy dense than the default battery, and it shows. The tools are okay I guess, prefer my own though, but the glue strips are considerably much too long and should be cut a little shorter. Not to mention good packaging with little waste.
