Title: Feet savior
Review: I originally bought these to save my skin from mat burns in jiu-jitsu. While it does the job, it also makes for slippery grip of the floor. Experimented & found these great for socks in a boxing/ wrestling shoe.

Title: Great for starting jiu-jitsu
Review: I started wearing socks on my second day of jiu-jitsu, because I was getting bad mat burn on both big toes while rolling barefoot. Regular cotton socks worked to prevent mat burn, but they would rotate around my feet like another reviewer described, so I had to keep adjusting them throughout class. These socks solve both problems; they prevent mat burn while staying in place on my feet.I bought the version with grips on the bottom which gave back the friction that I had lost with cotton socks. The grips made a squeaking noise on the first mats I wore them on like another reviewer said. The noise for me was definitely noticeable but not too loud. Since switching to different mats, however, the noise has completely disappeared. It takes longer to seat each foot properly in the sock than a regular cotton sock. I use my hands to work and pull them into place, and then they’re comfortable and I almost forget about them. It takes about as long as it would take to tie a pair of shoes.Another note: I broke a toe while wearing cotton socks and switched to these while it was still broken. I taped up my toes and was careful when putting the sock on it at first. They were comfortable even with my broken toe.Update: These lasted a few months of wearing and washing them 2-3 days a week even though I dried them on low heat when I was only supposed to air dry them. I’m satisfied with that. I replaced them but eventually stopped wearing them, because I developed enough experience and calluses after six months to want to use my feet to feel around more. I’m leaving this review at 5 stars because these socks are part of the reason I was able to progress to that point. They got me through the initial mat burn which was brutal during my beginner’s clumsiness.

Title: No grip on these
Review: These are not good for jui jitsu. The grip does not work on mats. Also does not grip on tile. I am not sure what these are meant to grip on.

Title: Roar Neoprene Socks
Review: Last about 6 months of intense taekwondo workouts, lightweight, but after hard workouts they start to tear at the seams. after washing several times the bottom in layer cushioning starts to ball up in clumps between the layers feeling like you have something under your foot. For the price I guess you get what you pay for, I use it to protect my feet from tearing on the mats during rotating kicks and to prevent from germs and bacteria that cause staff infections.

Review: I had no issues with grip, they do make your feet sweat a little more than normal. But true to size

Review: I was very disappointed with those. The main problem is the grip. You slide on the mat. It’s just like any regular socks.
