Title: My son’s new favorite book
Review: My 18 month old is absolutely obsessed with cars and trucks, so this was the perfect book for him! We borrowed it from the library initially, but after constant requests to read it, we knew we had to buy our own copy. He especially loves the pickle tanker truck and the steamroller and will say “OH NO!” on the steamroller page, which is the cutest thing ever.

Review: This is almost like a first science book for babies. It talks about the kinds of different rabbits, how they look different, and even has some humor added in at the end. I love all of the illustrations, they’re absolutely beautiful! My daughter just turned one and she loves looking at them.

Title: A family favorite
Review: If you like Richard Scarry’s illustrations and if your little one enjoys cars and trucks, this is a total winner. Our little one is obsessed with this book and the companion Richard Scarry board book titled “Cars”. The trucks are cute, the characters are endearing and silly, and there’s so much to talk about on each page despite the fact that its pretty simple. This is a family favorite.

Review: No es una novedad, los libros de Richard Scarry son clásicos y tienen sus. Yo me pasaba las horas hojeándolo y buscando a Serpentino, y ahora son mis hijos los que lo hojean. Los dibujos y las historias son muy sencillos, pero cuando me siento en el sofá con ellos a hojearlos, con lo revoltosos que son, se amansan viendo todos los detalles y personajes. Cada doble página es un escenario distinto, como una gran viñeta. Está muy bien pensado y además es bastante didáctico, muy infantul, pero sin las bobadas y ñoñerías fantasiosas de los libros infantiles más recientes. Éste libro en concreto es para pequeños, de dos o tres años. Es fuerte, pero no irrompible. Se lo recomiendo a todos los que no los conozcan, os quedaréis sorprendidos de cómo gustan a los niños de una franja de edad muy amplia, ni Harry Potterr ni su tía la del pueblo.

Review: I had this book as a shaped paperback when I was little–may have even belonged to my mother–and I still remember it and love it. So pleased it’s in board book now, just purchased for my baby niece. I Am A Bunny also by the author equally highly recommended. x
