Title: Best Plantronics headset I’ve owned. Works with my iPhone and my PC for Skype.
Review: The Plantronics 38884-01 Voyager PRO UC B230-MBluetooth Headset was a good buy for me. It allowed me to connect to my phone wirelessly. I like the mini boom microphone and the behind-over-ear attachment to the ear. It stays one pretty good, but sometimes my ear does not cooperate and it popping out of my ear. I changed the little rubber ear cover to the smallest one. It helps, but I occasionally have problems keeping it on my ear and getting it to stay. Once I do get it on my ear and it is staying, it usually stays on for a long time. It comes with a few sizes for the rubber ear cover. It will work on either ear.Once connected, the Plantronics Voyager Pro works great. Connects via Bluetooth. I put it on when I get in the car, and I often forget it is on my ear when I get out f the car an I don;t even notice it over time. There is an on-off power button on the base of the unit. And, there is volume up and down controls as well. You can answer and end a call by pressing the button on the ear piece or answer the call on the phone screen. You can also mute a call.It allows you to connect via Microsoft Lync to your PC which is nice so you can connect to your phone and your PC with this model Plantronics Voyager Pro. You can use it with Skype to answer calls.Voice prompts tell you status.Standy time lasts a very long time about 120 hours. Talk time is very good at about 6 hours. It comes with an AC charger. The boom microphone can tilt up to keep out and away from your face. The microphone works very well, and it picks up your voice and keeps ambient sounds out.The Plantronics Voyager Pro looks very sharp and very professional.I recommend this bluetooth headset. It is a little pricey, but well worth it. It is constructed very well. The professional look, the quality of sound and the long standby and talk time is great.

Title: Not up to Pantronics Standards
Review: I do not like this product at all. It is too big and does not comfortably fit behind my ear. Also, the volume is adequate in a quiet room but that is it. The answer button does not give a good tactile response — it is hard to find and when you push what you think is the button, you are not sure. It works fine at a desk using the USB dongle, but as a mobile device, it leaves much to be desired.

Title: Stop reading now and JUST BUY IT!
Review: If you’ve made it this far, you should just stop reading and buy it!!! I upgraded from my Plantronics SaviGo and have not looked back. I’ve had this for about a month now and LOVE it.Pros:- Connects to my laptop (Win7) with no problem and works great with Unified Communications- Battery life is great, I can take several hour long calls without needing to recharge; and it recharges pretty quick- Voice battery meter is very convenient (“Talk time is 6 hours”)- It’s very comfortable, i forget i have it on- It will stream audio (music, alerts, voice mail, virtually any sound your phone makes) from your phone. Haven’t tried it on my pc yet- Auto answer works very well. If the earpiece is laying on the table and you pick it up, it does not answer until its on your head- Noise reduction works amazingly well. People ask me if i got a new headset, they say i sound better than talking directly into the phone.- The dongle is nice and small, I just leave it plugged into my laptop when it travels. No issues.- Range is pretty good. I could go a little further with the SaviGo, but different technology. I can walk most of the way to the other end of the house. I’m happy with it.Cons:- Voice activated dialing is poor and it assumes its correct (just places the call without confirmation). I’ve learned not to use it- This could be my phone, although it didn’t do it before = If I have media notifications turned on (a setting for Bluetooth in Android), after ending a call, my phone will randomly (not all the time) play a song that’s on my SD card through the headset. I rarely care to have the media audio come through the headset so I just turn the setting on/off as needed.- Since my laptop has Bluetooth built in, I was hoping I could use the headset without the dongle, however I could not get it to work, although I haven’t researched it further yet.Over all the cons are just me being picky on the cool things it does. It’s the best Bluetooth I’ve ever owned. Would obviously recommend it!

Title: Not into Plantronics
Review: I thought with the bluetooth usb plug it would be seamless with my Lenovo laptop/tablet. Still have not got it connected. Can’t waste the time.It did connect to my phone OK, however the earpiece is big and cumbersome and not at all comfortable. Wasted my money. Plus I ordered a little leather case for it as suggested by Amazon. You know one of those buy with offers and free shipping. Well the Headset already came with a somewhat similar case, one not mentioned in the advertising and it had a holder for the USB bluetooth thingy. The one I ordered extra had nothing to hold the bluetooth thingy but did have a belt clip. Go figure. I am going to go back to Best Buy where I can at least put my hands on the devise AND return it with no hassles. As noted elsewhere, i have a Plantronics headset with a wire. It works fine in the laptop but will not connect with my Samsung. Something about different audio/mic plug configurations. Of course nobody mentions that. Plantronics is not help, Samsung tried to get me to upgrade the bios on my phone and ….. you get the picture. Buyer beware.

Title: Nice for online meetings
Review: Works great for online meetings using Lync, I assume it would be good for Skype and other online audio connections. I just leave it plugged in until I need it. Sound is clear and others can hear me fine.Battery life seems good. A voice says 6 hours available when I connect – I’ve done 3-4 with no problem.Only issue I had was with trying to get the small ear buds on. I ripped them and that was that. Probably due to my own clumsiness, but IMO could have been less fragile. Be careful doing this. The other ones that came with it were way too large for me. I just ordered a replacement online and everything is cool.Simple to set up on Windows 7 and Lync. Haven’t used it with other software.
