Title: A bit pricey but worth it.
Review: On Micro Four Thirds camera bodies, this lens has an 18mm equivalent angle of view. It’s an “ultrawide” lens, in other words. Even shooting wide open at f/1.7 aperture, I was pleasantly surprised by the sharpness and contrast. This is a fantastic lens, folks.

Title: Glad I bought it
Review: I have been thinking about getting an ultra wide lens for some time and I am sorry I waited so long. I considered several different ones and I think this one has them all beat. It also opens up a lot of new photographic possibilities and creativity. Over all I am very happy with this lens. PS: It was shipped in a well padded box and not a padded envelope.

Title: I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED.
Review: I purchased this lense because my 15mm F1.7 also from Pan/Leica has been the best lense in my kit, and I wanted to try other lenses in the “leica” family. This is not even remotely on that lens’ level. Another reviewer mentioned that the build quality was sub par, but I was not expecting plastic light weight. For the money, I really dont know if this is worth keeping around when my 12-60mm also from Leica is just so nice by comparison. I was also hoping for both a focus ring and an aperture ring, but this only has a focus ring.PROs: You can absolutely shoot in low light with this, but I wouldn’t try to shoot anything fast moving (Kids/pets). There is very very minimal distortion for such a wide angle, much better than another 9mm that I have which is a true fisheye. It’s definitely light weight and perfect for travel / daytime street photography. For myself however, I just dont think this lens is worth the $450 now missing from my pocket.Will be returning.

Review: Musste es leider aus England importieren lassen, wurde deshalb etwas teurer. Aber die Bildqualität ist sehr gut im Bereich Makroaufnahmen. Werde es auch noch für Astrofotographie verwenden, da es sehr lichtstark ist.Nachtrag: Wie man sieht an den Nachtfotos, es ist extrem lichtstark👍, eine Empfehlung für Astrofotografie👍👌

Review: Me encanta la fotografía de grandes angulares. Su diafragma rápido hace que se pueda usar en la noche (ventana para las micro 4/3) y además si te acercas lo suficiente genera un hermoso bokeh. Es de plástico pero es ligero, Su resistencia a salpicaduras lo hace más genial.
