Customers say
Customers find the headset works well with Vtech DS667 devices and appreciate its sound quality, particularly the volume control and excellent reception. The device is easy to hook up and customers consider it worth the money. While some customers report good build quality, others describe it as a terrible, cheaply made product. Compatibility receives mixed feedback – it pairs easily with AT&T phones but doesn’t work with Vtech phone systems, and comfort opinions are divided between those who find it perfectly comfortable and those who find it uncomfortable.

Title: Excellent headset w/options, poor volume control
Review: I love Vtech products – they are solidly built and have very useful functions and options. The speakers and microphones they use are top notch and perform incredibly well. This headset paired perfectly to my Vtech IS7121 phone system – I wasn’t sure it was compatible but after some research decided to try it. It comes with many sizes/shapes of silicone ear fittings as well as an over-the-head holder if you’d prefer to use that – both have been comfortable for me.The call quality through the speaker and clarity/loudness of voice sent over the microphone are quite good, however the only drawback is that the lowest volume setting on the headset is still too loud – to remedy this I move the earpiece just outside my ear hole and it’s acceptable. There should be a wider range of volume levels allowed/supported.Overall it’s a great unit when you want completely handsfree use but don’t want to use a speakerphone for privacy or convenience.TIP: if pairing/registering this headset to the Vtech phone system doesn’t work, try following the Vtech instructions for registering the headset but *leave the base handset off the base after pressing the locator button and putting it into pairing/registering mode*.

Title: Excellent headset!
Review: Excellent headset. Works and sounds great. Has call waiting, mute, and volume control built in. Does not have a ringer built in so must hear handset ringing. Very comfortable headband. The earpiece attachments Do not really work because headset is too heavy for them. Use the provided headband and it works awesome. I love this thing…allows me to work at home while talking on phone.

Title: Too bad there aren’t zero stars
Review: I bought this after reading the review below about how amazing it is and how durable and synchs seamlessly. Well… it doesn’t. To be fair, maybe we used different command consoles? I used the CM18445. First, as soon as you move the mouth piece when putting it on the charger, it comes apart into 2 pieces. Annoying, but I could get used to it. The problem is in operation – it is an unbelievable hassle to use this device! It could make it as a home unit but never in an office setting. Examples: 1. The phone rings, the headset rings, you answer (great so far!)… now you need to put the caller on hold… NOPE! No can do without handing that call back to the console (causing a terrible feedback noise) and then you can put someone on hold. Fail. #2. You want to make an outgoing call on line 2 (or pick another line) – you have to call the number from the console and then QUICKLY (before they pick up and you look like an idiot on your business phone) you have to scroll through a menu to transfer the call to your headset. This is just unacceptable when you are receiving and making calls regularly in a business setting. This unit didn’t last the day – it’s out of here! Oh – forgot to mention – I added a windsock to the mouthpiece because it picks up echoes and background noises to the receiving caller and has overall poor audio quality. Garbage. Avoid.

Title: Setup is quick and easy, literally took a minute to pair
Review: Setup is quick and easy, literally took a minute to pair. Works with my V-tech CS6919-15 base and phone. I had to play around with it for a few minutes to discover all of its capabilities, but I love the features. It allows me to keep the phone on the charger while on calls. I can use it to answer a call, answer call waiting, mute and adjust the volume. I haven’t figured out how to switch back to the original call though, but I’m sure I will eventually. I have learned that if I am calling into an IVR, I have to get through the menu prior to putting the phone back into the charger. It’s better to place the handset back in the charger or you might experience feedback. Warning, I have ended the call using the headset but then looked at my phone and the call is continuing on my end. Now, I have to double check ensure the call is disconnected. I use the adjustable headset and it is lightweight and can be used on either ear. In testing it, people say they can hear me clearly which is good because my phone service is VoIP. The charging unit is sleek and uses minimal desk space, however, if you are using the headset you will need to figure in space for it or you will have to detach it when you need to charge the unit. A great device and affordable price for use in a home office.

Title: Inexpensive cheaper quality Cordless Phone Headset
Review: This headset unfortunately is the only product available that’s compatible with my office Vtech phone system, model# DS 6251-2. A good value for a cheaper quality cordless headset, smaller work area, battery works for about a day, great sound and volume control but uncomfortable to wear longer hours and minimal adjustment options available to help make the ear piece and comfortable. If you work in a larger office space, warehouse the connectivity gets worse and drops calls.

Title: Great headset for home use!
Review: I bought this product to replace the headset that came with my vetch DS 6671-3 and couldn’t be happier. The original headset that came with phone was cheap and flimsy. It had a little plastic clip that held the headband in place, which literally snapped right off trying to change the headband. The separate headset is 100 times better. It fits very comfortably but still maintains a nice, tight hold of the earpiece against your ear. The sound quality is excellent, and it appears to be built to last. My recommendation: Don’t waste your time with the original headset that comes with the phone. Spend the small amount of money and upgrade to this headset.Downsides: (1) this headset does not fit in the cradle for the original product, so I have an extra (empty) cradle attached to the phone base. (2) BEWARE: if you are using this as a replacement, you must deregister your old broken headset. This is not clear in the instructions, and the operations manual for the phone base did not explain how to deregister the old headset. I was able to find a different manual on the Internet for the same model after some digging. Search for VTech DS6672-4 Abridged User Manual.

Review: I always have to be doing some thing while I’m talking on the phone so this worked wonderfully! Held onto my old VTEC set just for the ear piece alone. I was using rubber bands and scotch tape to hold it together. Finally found this and couldn’t wait to try it out. So glad I did!

Review: I bought the 1 Vtech cordless phone and this headset for $110 and it’s the best one I’ve ever had. Everyone sounds clear and all my customers can’t even tell I have one on. When I see a flash sale I’ll buy an extra one as a backup.
