Title: Very useful, decent quality.
Review: I’ve had a bias against these configurable ND filters, but the convenience of it finally one out. The filter itself looks good, and works very nicely. It gets far darker than I would have thought possible. It also comes with a small black carrying pouch, which is very thin and fits in my camera bag easily. I really didn’t think that I would like this, but I’ve come to appreciate the usefulness of the product. Try it out!

Title: College Digital Photography Classroom use
Review: I’m now enjoying the Arts Classes at the Local College ..and my assignments include both studio and outside the studio projects.I’m also someone who has Retinal Detachment and partial blindness ..This particular filter … I don’t have to fumble around and look for the braille markings I added .. I just use the one filter and can adjust as needed ..I’ve used this on historical sites (including Civil War Era Fortifications) and the results are good.Make sure to leave enough on top/bottom and left/right to edit out some aberrations ..

Title: Great for Price
Review: I read all the reviews needed something fast and at a great price, it was all I had wished for sturdy, didn’t feel cheap, I didn’t expierence any color shifts as well stopped all light I didnt want I was able to shoot wide open… I love it plain on using it more often on this ND filter expierence…. I am a professional photographer i used it with a Canon 5D mark II with a 24-70mm f2.8 L worked great only issue the filter head ND portion is larger then 77mm so I couldnt use my hood…. @sesworks

Title: Causes Dark Edges.
Review: I finally got to use this filter today while doing some time lapse photography. There are some dark areas around the edges of the photos while the center is lighter. This is constant throughout. Too bad. It did what it was suppose to do nicely by bring down the light entering the lens by stops.

Title: Filter works fine
Review: I tried out the filter and it works fine. I use it with my lens stopped down to about F16.The build quality is actually fairly good. It’s kind of fun to set my camera on manual and then use the filter as a lens ring controlled aperture setting. I just spin the filter until I get the exact exposure look I want.Other than that, it’s great for long exposure photography.

Title: Worth Having In Your Kit (just in case)
Review: I bought this filter for the 5D mk2, 24-105mm, f4 kit lens, when accessorizing to use it in video production. I’ve mostly been shooting inside so, I haven’t yet been in a situation where I needed it for the kit lens. However, I did use this filter on some video shot in a kitchen with bright sun pouring in a window, and massive amounts of diffuse light from other windows. I manually held it over a 50mm prime (much smaller threads), and dialed in the proper exposure by eye, rather than reading the stops. This allowed me to shoot wide open, even with the flood of light, and the shots came out really nice. My only criticism is that this filter produced a slight bit of vignetting. Still it wasn’t bad, especially for the price, and the customers didn’t seem to notice. I’ve since ordered one to fit my prime lens, so I don’t have to hold it in case I’m ever shooting in a similar situation.

Title: Solid for the price
Review: So I needed something that would fit the bill for a variety of situations, and this filter seems to fit that bill. Great range of stops to choose from and it’s relatively easy to alter the darkness. They only issue I have with the filter is you have to reach around the front of the lens to change the fade. It would be much easier if there was a small handle on the outside of the filter to let you make adjustments.Other than that, excellent budget filter. Definitely get one.

Title: You may hope your saving money, but product will generally be unusable for quality photography
Review: This product may seem like a steal at its price, however it is a nightmare to use, and overall, it is unusable for 75% of the range that it claims to work for. What you are looking at is a 0 to 10-stop NDX filter, that works just like a CPL filter. However, for anything over a slight darkening, the overlapping discs show on the images. Therefore, you will have dark rings going across parts of your frame. Sure, it makes everything darker and allows you to increase shutter speed, but anything past 2-3 stops…will result in semi-circles cutting across your frame and ruining your image (generally in the center of the frame as well, not the images). This does not do what it claims to do with any sort of quality…will merely ruin any images you hope to take with super long shutter speeds. Save your money and put towards a real high end 10-stopper.
