Title: Looks and sounds nice!
Review: I am comparing this against another style of spoons thar are made of hard, clear acrylic. This pair is less than half the price and in my opinion looks much better and feels nicer to hold. The clear spoons are actually a bit louder and more versatile with the tones that can be produced. I wish there was a way to have the best of both styles. But for the lower cost of this one, for someone just wanting to see if this is a fun instrument, I think it’s a good choice and value. It is great for practicing rthymn and easy to get started.

Review: I am a drummer, so I am always looking for hew or unusual percussion instruments.This is a set of solid Rosewood “spoons,” made out of two connected wood spoons. Well crafted and smooth.Because they are connected, some techniques are not the same as two separate spoons.They give you two to three main “woody” (of course) tones, and you can control the pitch with your cupped hand over the hollow of one of the spoons.Made primarily for Irish, “Mountain,” or Americana type styles, your use is only limited by your imagination.
