Title: Love this book!
Review: This book is amazing and so relatable. It shows you the highs and lows of moving and is so beautifully worded. I read through it pretty quick, but this isn’t a book you read just once. It’s definitely something you could just go back to and read a chapter when needed. Highly recommend.

Review: I have not finished reading the book yet, but I am compelled to write a review. This is the first time I’ve even heard of this lady. The title spoke to me because I said this to a narcissist two years ago, so I was curious to what she had to say. OMG, I am so glad I did and I’m still away from him. Some of her wording is very direct concerning your feelings and how to move forward in this dark world. It’s not just people you need to let go, it’s anything that’s taking your life in the wrong direction. I’m only at chapter 10!

Title: Great Read
Review: This is a great read. I would recommend this to anyone having a hard time with processing a break up. It not easy to navigate post love life challenges and this book normalizes the thoughts and feelings many of us experience. However it written more for people whom do not appear to have children so there’s a clean break with no residual responsibility of continued communication between ex partners. It would have been nice to see a chapter addressing intimate partners with children struggling to let go some of their projections associated with family, etc..

Title: Easy read, and helpful
Review: This book was a very easy read. I found it very helpful, and would recommend that everybody read it at some point. Many of the chapters may not apply to you directly, because the book is trying to cover a broader sense of what it is trying to teach. So some of the chapters may not apply to you, and others might speak to you tremendously. I am going to be recommending this to a few people who I know could really use it personally. There are a couple chapters in it that I plan to reread and revisit regularly.I actually got this in relation to my relationship with my children as they grow up. Some of it relates to romantic relationships, so while the circumstances did not directly apply to my situation, the methods of dealing with Loss, grief, and disappointment in how relationships develop overtime, was still very helpful as a parent. This book was also surprisingly effective for my dealing with cutting off a toxic relationship with a close family member. Even if the book often relates to romantic relationships, the building blocks can be used for all types. I would also recommend this book for anyone who has ever had a bad relationship with a friend, family member, or lover, or is just needing help understanding themselves a little better.

Title: Great Message with A LOT OF TYPOS
Review: This is a great book that deserves 5 stars but with the numerous typos, I can only give it 3 stars. The essays are written in a way that’s not preachy. The tone is very matter of fact – like talking to a wise person who has been through everything you are experiencing. I’m currently trying to get over a break up and I could relate to so much of what the author touched on in each essay. If you’re at a crossroad in your life this book can help put things in perspective. It will also help you handle the guilt associated with loss, mistakes, and heartbreak. Hopefully the book can be edited again to catch the typos.

Review: Un livre incroyable, sincèrement. Je l’ai découvert par hasard sur Instagram grâce à une connaissance, et je l’ai acheté après une rupture difficile. Je peux vous dire que ça en valait vraiment la peine. Chaque chapitre m’a bouleversé. C’était une magnifique découverte, une bonne thérapie.D’ailleurs, une amie l’a acheté suite à ma recommandation, et elle a aimé, alors même qu’elle est en couple et que tout va bien pour elle. Je pense que ce livre peut être utile à quiconque souhaite mieux comprendre les relations amoureuses, apprendre à laisser partir certaines personnes, et à vivre sans toujours chercher à être en couple. En bref, je le recommande sans hésiter.!
