Title: I’m on Day 2 of Week 3 and it’s honestly working!!
Review: I would recommend this book to anyone that would like a step by step guide on what to eat and when to eat it to get your metabolism in gear. I am a 33 year old female, 5 ft 3 inches, I started at 183 lbs, and I’m currently weighing in around 174. I have dieted off and on my entire life so my metabolism isn’t in the greatest shape. I am two weeks into the program (1/2 way there) and I feel great, down 9 lbs!! I love that I have options for all the meals and snacks, but what I like more is that Dr. Smith tells us exactly what to eat and when to eat it. I haven’t been hungry and I haven’t been full, I’ve been completely comfortable, my moods have been stable and my energy has been stable. I’ll admit, I haven’t followed the plan verbatim, I did miss a snack or meal a couple of times and I did go out to eat a couple of times which mixed up my meals – but like Dr. Smith says, I picked up where I left off and kept on going. I am also working on, my rest days have been switched here and there, but for the most part I workout at least 5 days a week. I will definitely do this plan again and again.There are SEVERAL snack ideas and there are plenty of recipes. I’ve made 4 of the soups so far and I’ve tried a couple of the smoothies, everything I’ve made from the recipe section has been great! (I tweek them to my taste.)Great book, Dr. Smith. Now I need you to write me a 365 day plan because this has been so easy and I’m seeing results – I want to continue doing it the other 48 weeks this year!* I highly recommend you purchase the paperback version and not Kindle version of this book. There is a lot of flipping pages, it’d be great to have the actual book in my hands – but I was still successful with the Kindle version.

Title: It works when nothing else does!
Review: So I just finished W1 of RS and am down 4.5 pounds. All I can say is WOW! My goal was to lose those stubborn 10 lbs that I just put on in the past year due to menopause even though I worked out (for the most part), avoided carbs and junk food almost completely and watched calories and bad eating. It was obvious that menopause had shut down my metabolism and the tactics I had used in the past would no longer be effective. Well SHRED has changed my life and my outlook on life at a time when I was losing control of so many aspects of what was going on with my body due to hormonal “whackiness”! This review is to provide the hopeful message to those who are considering this program or who might be debating its purchase or just beginning the journey. Good luck to all. It works and it’s doable! I now know that I have a powerful tool in my arsenal to help me move forward being happy and healthy! On to WEEK 2!Update: After week 3, I was feeling great but not seeing any more pounds come off the scale. I continued to follow the plan to the tee, but discontinued weigh-ins because I realized that what mattered most was how I felt and not the number. Fast forward to five weeks out and I’ve been continuing to shred on my own while planning on starting Regular Shred next Monday. This morning, 5.5 weeks from my start date I have lost the ten pounds I had hoped to lose but, even more so, the inches are falling off like crazy. It’s obvious that this way of eating has gotten my metabolism going again AND I’m losing fat, not muscle and not water weight. The clothes that I had hoped to fit into again one day are also too big. It’s amazing and I just can’t believe that no one has been able to figure this out before Dr Ian. It is truly life changing and a new, clean, active healthy lifestyle for me! Title: I’ve completed Super Shreds many times
Review: I have completed the program 3 times in the last 2 years and have just restarted. I don’t suggest doing it over and over. Allow yourself time off the program to adjust to eating healthy small meals without following the book’s instructions. It will help make sure you don’t gain weight back. A couple of my suggestions if you are planning to start:1. Add an alarm to your phone for eating times2. Don’t eat any processed foods. Natural soups and smoothies have fewer calories and you can make them to your liking.3. I wasn’t as strict on the exercise but I tried to do at least 30 minutes a day, 4 days a week.4. Don’t weigh in all the time. Just at the end of the week otherwise you might get discouraged.5. Before you start, cut out soda, sweets, alcohol, and drink a ton of water. It will get you used to it.6. Feel free to adjust to what you like but keep within reason (For example: 5oz fish with 2 servings of veggies = canned tuna with carrots and celery. I treated it like a crab/fish dip)7. Plan your week in advance at the grocery store and write it out for ease of use during the week8. Don’t eat at restaurants EVER, lol9. Buy fun lunch totes, soup containers (Mini crock pot warmer), and smoothie cups. It made me excited to use my new kitchen gadgets.10. Don’t be so hard on yourself. If you mess up, forgive and start again. Before long you will like the healthy eating

Review: Great book – lays out four weeks of meal choices — pick a meal for the prescribed time and go. Contains your weekly shopping list, plus pages of 100 and 150 calorie snacks you can have pretty well any time. (Who knew a baked potato with toppings could be a low-cal snack?) First week didn’t see any real change in weight, but the next week I was down 7 pounds. Down 11 by end of week 3 (I didn’t ramp up exercising) and down 14 by the end of the workout. I had a few cheats, so I suspect I might have actually hit the 20 had I followed Ian’s plan to the letter. Oh … and that was three months ago. And because the book changed how and what I eat, and when, I have held the weight off.

Review: I’m breastfeeding at the moment and find it very difficult to loose weight while I am breastfeeding. This program started off working really well when I followed it exactly but then my milk supply dropped so added more snacks. I exercised most days but some days I was too sleep deprived (mum of four, 8 6 20months and 6 months, forever tired 😜) I lost all the weight in the first 2 weeks. All up I lost 4 kilos. That’s good for me while breastfeeding and eating more than recommended. I’m gonna do it for another round now and try to cut out a few more calories. Easy to follow though and no fancy foods either.
