Review: These two batteries both charged very well. I haven’t used them yet but did check both in my camera and verified that they were fully charged. I fully expect them to last as long as my other Nikon batteries. My other Nikon batteries kept the charge very well in Minnesota’s freezing temps a few weeks ago unlike the off brand ones I also used in Northern Minnesota.

Title: Old, but great battery
Review: I bought two of these batteries. They are great.But I noticed that both batteries are almost a year old based on the serial number on it. I’m tempted to return them but I doubt I’ll be able to get a newer version so I’ll keep them.

Review: Bought a used Nikon D7100 and the battery was running down. I’ve seen reviews of non-OEM batteries for Nikon cameras say that they only last a few months, don’t hold a charge well, etc. I had wondered about getting this battery as it wasn’t clear if it would fit the D7100 so I contacted Nikon Customer service and they said it would fit. Ordered it, charged it, now is working fine. Holding a charge well. We’ll see how it is after a year.I would say it is worth the extra money vs getting a battery that only will last a few months, which I have had experience with in other products. I’m also surprised that the description doesn’t include the fact that it will work in the D7100, but there you have it. Don’t know about any other models.

Review: I normally buy brand batteries , not ” no-name ” products or generic products for a 3500$ camera because in all the cases , I found that the generic ones were not as good. We’re normally talking about as high as 40% less effective for generic batteries . I know sometimes some people don’t have choice to use third party products and it’s ok but when you still can have brand batteries from Nikon , it’s worth it , always. As I talk a lot with users , non of the people I know says generic batteries can be as good or better. It’s almost always lower performance in time… even when generic ones claim to give 1000 MAH more.Instead of bringing and charging 4 batteries a day , I charge only one and half or 2 . It’s lightweight in my bag , it’s less frustrating to change batteries when doing important things. If you pay 3500$ for your camera and are able to buy original batteries , normally you do. Battery power is the source of the camera . If the source is bad … it may damage cameras or leak in it . I rarely heard about it but I wouldn’t personnally try it.Give your cam the ” food ” it like the most.

The battery is also very easy to charge, and I never had to worry about running out of power unexpectedly.One of the things I appreciate the most about this battery is that it’s compatible with a wide range of Nikon cameras new and old, it works on my old DSLRs like the D600, D750, D800 and works on my Mirrorless Z6.Fast charging and reliable, highly recommended the Nikon EN-EL15c instead of shady third party knock offs.
