Title: Decent mat but fold creases don’t come out
Review: I wish they would ship the Mahjong Mat rolled up into a tube rather than folded. The quality of the mat itself is nice. It is thick enough and large enough to be useful. However, because it arrives folded, there are fold creases in the mat that don’t come out. That means it doesn’t lay perfectly flat and the folds are very visible. It still works. It provides enough padding to dampen the sound of tiles. It’s too bad about the folds, which seems like an easily avoidable problem.

Title: I kept it but am disappointed.
Review: I wanted to cover my old card table with a Mah Jong related cover. The cover arrived folded and the folding disturbed the design. It is functional but not attractive.

Title: Fold marks cannot be removed
Review: This mat looks ok….albeit rather “cheap”. However, the biggest issue is that the manufacturer folded the mat to ship it. I CANNOT get the fold bends out no matter what I try. It affects play as the tiles will not lay flat. There are 3 folds that cannot be removed. I have spend enough time on this that I will be returning it.

Title: Not my favorite!
Review: The pile is too thick! It’s like heavy velvet. The tiles don’t slide easily. When you touch or move things across it, it leaves streaks in the pile.The color is beautiful. It does dampen sound and help prevent damage. But it’s just not pretty to play on because of the above reasons.

Title: Junk – color off, folds do not go away, wrong # tiles
Review: Ordered black, it’s really blue. Folds do not go away when laid flat (see pic.) Only has 13 “placeholders” for tiles – 19 needed for Mahjongg so useless reminder. Thought it would be thinnher – it is more like a floor rug. Junk.
