Title: Works well
Review: Used this to replace a foot on an Amazon Basics monopod. Was an easy job and has held up well.

Title: Good overall with a caveat
Review: Sturdy build though I wish the screw for attachment and the other one were countered to each other so it doesn’t unscrew itself

Title: Works great as described.
Review: Easy to install and use. Just make sure the tripod you you plan to use it on has a threaded 1/4” hole after you remove the old foot.

Title: Not as universal as the listing indicates
Review: I have two monopods and thought this would be a good solution for when using a heavier lens. However it didn’t fit either one. I think it must be for a very narrow selection of brands or perhaps the same brand as the supplier. Either way it didn’t fit either of my Manfrotto monopods. It appears very well made and quite sturdy. Legs clip down securely.

Title: Stability issue: The ball-joint clutch isn’t counter-threaded
Review: I love the *theory* of this thing, but it’s hard to keep it stable in an environment where someone may try to rotate whatever’s on top of the monopod. The problem? Nothing is counter-threaded.If you tighten the ball-joint you can unscrew the 3/8″ connection to the monopod. If you tighten the 3/8″ bolt, you loosen the clutch on the ball-joint. The problem can be sort-of solved with three hands and two vice-grip wrenches (ensuring that neither the connector nor the clutch can rotate while you’re adjusting one or the other of them) but that kind of defeats the portability and “monopod-ness” of the whole arrangement. And even if you’ve cranked on it with wrenches, applying torque to the top of the monopod while trying to seat the tripod well in grass or sand may loosen the 3/8″ bolt, and then you need to get out the pliers again.Other than THAT, well, it’s fine I guess. The feet lock down nicely, and the release buttons work like I expected them to.
