A quick rundown of this product’s key features:

One woman learns the secrets of the five Jaeger brothers in the new romance from New York Times bestselling author Penelope Douglas.

On the other side of town, in the dark glades, under the rain…

Macon is the oldest. Thirty-one. Ex-Marine. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him smile.

Army is twenty-eight. A single dad with the most beautiful green eyes. He has no idea who he is, if not a Jaeger brother.

Iron will be in prison soon. You’d never think it to meet him. He’s a nice guy, actually. But he can’t stop reacting to everything.

Dallas is the one I hate. Twenty-one, cruel, and selfish. He takes and then throws away whatever’s left.

And Trace is mine. Or he was for about two seconds. No one can tame him for long.

Not that I ever wanted to. It was fun, but now I need to go home. Back to my side of the tracks. Away from the swamps and these men. To my parents’ big house. On my clean street. Where I’m never dirty or messy or hot. And I will. I’ll leave first thing tomorrow morning. I just want to crash on the couch tonight.

Their house is dark and quiet, everyone else is asleep. Except for one. He sees me crying and comes at me from behind. I let him wrap his arms around my body and hold me tightly. His breath is on my neck, his fingers are in my hair, and he doesn’t stop there.

I don’t think it was Trace.

Title: Slow burn but….
Review: Like the author’s other books, this was a slow burn. But worth it! I love the way the characters interacted with each other. And I LOVED the ending!

Title: I MISS THEM ALREADY😩😩😩
Review: This book was an entire roller coaster. I don’t know where to truly start, but I love all of them. Krisjen is a total badass. I loved getting to know her. We kind of got to get to know her in Tryst Six Venom but this is like a whole new shell of hers that we learned about and more as the story progresses and I absolutely adore her!! T those five brothers are my absolute favorite. I could not pick one throughout the whole book. I love and adore them all. When the whole mystery brother started happening and I was trying to figure out who was with Krisjen that night my guesses were either Dallas or Macon and I was correct. The only thing is I didn’t expect them to end up together. I kind of wanted it to be Dallas or Army or I wish it would’ve been like a why choose between those three 🤷‍♀️. But I actually love that Macon found love with Krisjen. Macon has a family to take care of and no one was really there to take care of him or what he was going through behind closed doors with his mental health and I’m glad Krisjen helped him with that and gave him a new perspective of life. I know who the next brother is going to be if this becomes a series and in the future I hope there’s more family moments and love and Friendships( especially between Aracely, Liv, Clay and Krisjen)(or Krisjen and Dallas). I miss them all so much🥹😭. 1000% recommend

Title: Five delicious brothers
Review: Holy heck! Pen did it again! I’m a big fan shady and already loved the Bay and the Jaegers after reading Tryst Six Venom, but I didn’t know how much I’d love each brother until I read this book!! I’ve never read a book with over 3 points of view before and didn’t know if I’d like it, but I actually loved it! The way this story was written is so unique and different than any other story I’ve ever read. It was a very cool experience to read through all the brother’s points of view and to see what Krisjens relationship was like with each of them from both her point of view and theirs. The inner workings of the family and the bay was also so fascinating to me. Very much felt like Peter Pan and his lost boys fighting over who got to keep Wendy. I don’t know if that was ever intentional or if that’s just the vibes to I got, but I loved it! It was a story of family, resilience, strength, sacrifice and love. But there was so much amazing spice in there too!!!!

Title: It was okay 🤷‍♀️
Review: I expected more, I was really looking forward to this read. I thought it was a why choose, but it wasn’t. The title definitely was misleading. It was an interesting read , but it was just that “okay”. The story was missing something. Not quite sure but I felt unsatisfied, once I finished. It could’ve been a great read if more thought was put into it. Many things felt unfinished. I can definitely say that this might’ve been the first Penelope Douglas book I didn’t rate five stars. Like I said before I expected more.

Title: she does it again
Review: Plot:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Spice:🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️Romance:♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️A tragic epic romance and a tale as old as time- forbidden love. This book is heart wrenching, spicy, and so much fun. The portrayal of the boys struggles with mental health, grief, masculinity, and family, was so beautiful. The influence of their culture and community was done so well. It reminded me a lot of my family and friends growing up in our Puerto Rican culture. The men in this book my god I loved them all. I was hoping this would end up being a why choose. But as the story progressed and I fell in love with the Jaeger brothers that was quickly replaced with the hope that we’ll get their individual stories. Aracely and Army would absolutely WRECK me.

Title: Messy and chaotic but, oh, so good!
Review: I didn’t know how much I needed this book until I started reading it. This not only got me out of my reading funk, but it broke me, healed me and turned me on, all at the same time.Five Brothers was messy and chaotic, but, oh, so good! It was also sad in parts, dealing with a delicate situation like depression with such fact and depth. It was hot and steamy right out the gate, and kept me hooked every page after. I read and listened to this novel and the narrator’s did an equally great job as the author did. This story reminded me a little of Credence in concept, and just like Credence, I’m happy the FMC ended up with the one people rarely saw without fearing him…it made my heart happy. I do feel kinda bad about Army, so I do hope the other brothers get their story: Iron, Trace, Army (and Aracely maybe??), and Dallas (maybe a MM romance??).I just love the world’s Penelope Douglas creates, and happy to be in the Tryst Six world now. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Review: If you loved Creedence, you will love Five Brothers. The two books really have something in common, which I can’t quite put my finger on but it’s, in my opinion Penelope Douglas at her very best! It doesn’t feel too young and not too crazy either, it’s just the perfect amount of everything. People who have read Creedence will know exactly what I mean after reading this. The style is a clear winner and I think a favorite amongst all her readers.
