Title: Joy in a box
Review: Delightful! All the function I need. Easily used with or without the instruction manual. You know its cheap but it is a world better than the cheap digital clocks out there. Much classier looking. Digital display has four brightness settings (something my expensive Sony clock radio doesn’t) so I don’t have to turn it away while I sleep (defeating being able to wake up and see what time it is.) Sound is as expected and with the wire antenna extended I haven’t experienced the reception issues others have noted although I don’t doubt that could be an issue. Sound is shat I expected for a cheap clock radio. Wakeup sound has 8 or so different sounds including chirping birds, falling rain and waves as well as the usual obnoxious alarm sounds. Volume also adjustable for all functions. Easy to set time of day and alarm time. Easy to hit Snooze button. To turn off alarm completely hit any button (the Sony you fumbled to hit the correct off button on a dial setting.) Now my wife wants one.

Title: Quirky Radio Programing
Review: This is a great looking bedside clock. The dimmable display gets 5 stars as it has a truly dim setting for use in a dark bedroom. Other clocks I’ve had did not get dim enough and could be annoyingly too bright even on the dimmest of settings. The radio sound is actually quite good. The surface charger (for use with a late model smart phone) works great and avoids the need for a separate charging station on the bedside table. In the event you have an older phone or other device that uses a USB charger, the included USB port works great. My only complaint regards the radio preset/memory feature. A push of a button and the auto-program feature runs the FM band from lowest to highest frequency, storing any and all stations it senses. It holds up to 30 FM presets which is more than enough. But . . . it stores any signal it senses, even when the station has weak signal or high degrees of static. There is no way to delete these useless channels from the preset list and there is no way to jump between presets to skip over the bad stations. If it captures a good signal on preset 2 and then there is no good station until preset 6, you have to push the up arrow 4 times to page from station 2 to station 6. I mostly listen to only one station anyway, so it’s not a big deal, but I docked the unit 1 star for this goofy quirk. The alarm feature is straight forward. You can wake to a beep or to a preset FM station. The sleep function is straight forward as well. There is no AM band on this radio, it is FM only. Not a concern for me but some may miss having access to local AM stations.

Title: Don’t hesitate to Buy
Review: I’ve had this clock over a year, and it works perfectly. I have no issues charging my phone, the time & alarm is always correct, and the battery backup does its job. I also like that it has a USB port. The only issue is that there are several buttons, and that can get confusing.

Review: Looks nice.The dimming actually works quite well: on the lowest setting, it shows the time clearly at night without brightening the room.It was easy to manually tune-in one of our local radio stations, and it comes in clear (with the antenna wire extended and draped down near the electrical cord).The time and alarm are very easy to set.Battery backup (for power failures) is a nice feature.The charging pad works well with my Samsung S10 (through a thin case).Areas for improvement:1. The brand name printed on the charging pad… “Anjanky”. In English slang, the term “janky” generally means shoddy / poorly constructed / unsafe. I would consider a name change for English speaking markets, or just not painting that on the units.2. The alarm sound is nasty. (It definitely works, but having other tones to choose from would be preferable.) I chose a radio station only because the alternative was not good.3. I love the simplicity of having 1 alarm setting, but having a second alarm setting would be very convenient.All-in-all, the pros vastly outweigh the cons. I like this alatm clock.
