Review: I could not put this book down once I started reading. Truly a superb reference tool, articulated with a common sense approach for those seeking the path of entrepreneurship. Dr. Pickard presents, a refreshing and engaging approach while revealing the 7 proven principles that served as the foundation of his success. Sprinkled in are unique antidotes drawn from both his own life and business experience; as well as prominent historical business and civic leaders. The reader is taken on a journey from the authors’ early up bringing, discussing the lessons learned from the family, teachers, community members and colleagues who helped shape his business philosophy. Throughout the book, practical examples are referenced to illustrate the underlying principles that can either create or deny success. Title: Good and easy to read.
Review: The book is a great biography about how Willam Pickard’s principles led to the success in building a business conglomerate. I like that his business life is industry agnostic, with a developed strategy around expansion. What would be interesting to read in a “2.0” book are the specifics around recognizing opportunity, and deal structuring.

Title: Not Just For Entrepreneurs
Review: I heard about this book on Sirrus Urban View as William was being interviewed, just looking for information on how to invest my money. When I read it, it was so much more; this book breaths life to the common man or woman. It makes you want to achieve in life, I made it a text book for a small group of millennial potential entrepreneurs. Great read

Review: There are a lot of wannabe entrepreneurship “gurus” around these days… but Dr. Pickard is the real deal. He’s got the receipts (nine figure annual revenues), the insights, and the stories to prove it. This book is an accessible, engaging read. I devoured it in two sittings.
