Title: Good glass at a good price
Review: This is my first fish eye lens so i did not know what to expect other than to have fun taking pictures. I’ll admit the first few shots were interesting to me as I am used to a 50mm but I realized fast that the creative capabilities with this lens could go far. I decided to explore the macro side and took this to work on one of my trips. Most of the shots in the cockpit were at f3.5 while the landscape shots were at f22. I did like the feel of the lens. Build quality felt solid. Focus ring was smooth and I like the aperture ring as it has small clicks when adjusting. The metal housing and mounting ring completed the build quality in my opinion. Much nicer than some plastic body 50mm lenses I’ve used. I was happy with the overall picture quality as I felt it produced sharp images that do trail off towards the corners. However it is a fish eye and most of my images get cropped anyway. Worked well in low light, still produced clean images with ability to focus well. One thing I liked the most is that it does not produce that “tunnel vision” effect. I shot this on a Canon T6 and T5i, both crop sensor. I have not tried this lens on a tripod yet but overall it has been a fun lens to get creative with and I see using this much more than I anticipated. For under $200 I think anyone would be pleased with this lens.

Title: Great lens for the price. A lot of fun.
Review: Some photos with the Meike 8mm f3.5 fisheye. I did make some adjustments in Photoshop. Playing around and seeing what I could do with the lens and the effects it gave me. All in all I am impressed with the ease of use and just how sharp the lens is. These were all shot with a Canon SL1 18mp DSLR. I did not correct for lens distortion. I see having some serious fun with this lens. What one has to remember is it is a manual lens. If you’re used to shooting manual you’ll have zero issues and be happy with the results. If you’re not a manual shooter, you will be after playing with this lens. All it will require is time and patience to see what manual mode offers. Have fun and with this lens, you can get lots of effects that you decide on. The lens is sharp and well made. It feels solid and mine feels good in the hand. Aperture and focusing are smooth and responsive. There are faint aperture clicks to let you know you are changing it but be careful, it’s so smooth you can easily overshoot the your mark. But unless you are shooting moving objects, which a fisheye is really not suited for anyway, it’s no problem because it’s digital! Just take another shot. For the price this is a very good entry level fisheye that won’t break the bank and will give you hours of fun.

Title: Very impressed! Amazing for real estate, street photography and skateboard videos.
Review: Wow! This lens does not disappoint. I was not sure what to expect from this lens as I have not seen many reviews. My first impression is what a nice piece of glass! The lens is quite big, and it does not feel cheap. The focus ring, the aperture ring, and the general lens feel well built. I took it out to play and the image is sharp. I love that there is no vignetting on my camera (aps-c sensor) and I am getting a very wide angle view. I also love that I can remove the lens hood (which my other fish-eye does not allow me to do). I definitely recommend this lens! I love street photography, so I will keep this lens in my bag.

Title: Sharp Photos
Review: This is a great lens. I occasionally take photos of buildings as a photographer and the ultra wide angle lets me capture the whole building. It’s a really fun lens to play with thats built really well. The lens body is made of metal and its a solid lens. The whole lens is heavier than my t6s body which is a downside I guess. Not a big deal tho.

Title: A favorite for goofy stuff
Review: Super fun lens to use, but it’s not great for normal photography. It’s heavy and compact (which I love) and takes FUN shots. Great for messing around or if you know what you’re doing, but keep in mind it has over a 180° view, so everything not in the center is WARPED. This is not a wide-angle lens, but a macro photography lens, and should be shot accordingly. Super fun, super weird, definitely recommend if you’re looking to buy something. Hope this helps.m

Title: Awesome quality for price, great glass.
Review: For the price there is no better lens. I got just what I was after an affordable fish eye lens with the bowl effect that has extremely low edge distortion for my purposes. I am using the lens for basic sky and weather photography and let me tell ya the glass quality has more potential than my Canon T6’s dated sensor can provide. Nice crisp controls and very heavy and we’ll made, can recommend! After looking at $300+ for Cannon’s 10-18 or other fish eye wife angles I chose this and it was a great choice.

Title: Focus is not noticeable.
Review: I don’t if my unit is defective but the focus ring doesn’t seem to have in effect. I don’t know if I should return it. but other than that is pretty nice for landscape shots. I know its a pretty inexpensive fisheye but still focus does not work on mine.
