Review: This is a great organizer. Here’s my take…At first I was a little peeved. I got it in the mail expecting it to be a semi solid type of foam (Which is what 50% of the photos look like). It is NOT that kind of foam. it is very soft stretchy foam. I was like… “uh, no… I’m returning this” In fact I had even gone through the return authorization on Amazon, and printed a label. My concern was that the soft foam would get torn taking the top tray in and out of the box for set up. Just before I mailed it back though… I was like… “I’m going to open it and just see…” So I popped open the shrink wrap (rude if I returned it now 😉 ) and put all the pieces in in to test it out. Then My tune changed.I LOVE the fact that the foam is soft. The miniature have the ability to compress down if the game board is on top of them. The cards are not going to get damaged on the corners, the coins don’t make a ton of noise, and the lid has the ability to close all the way (Pretty much). unlike other organizers like the broken token one, which explicitly say they do NOT close all the way. This one sticks up just a tiny bit, but if you use the box bandits (Rubber band for game boxes) the lid will close all the way, because the foam can compress down WITHOUT damaging any components.Also, the card spots are big enough to hold sleeved cards.I’m still somewhat concerned about the foam tearing eventually, but I’m careful with ALL of my games, and its a well produced organizer, so I’mpretty confident its going to be okay. All in all, I’m actually super satisfied with the foam insert. I would buy more of these for games if they become available. I think they are a superior product to the wood organizers.

Review: My only complaint with this is the foam topper it comes with won’t allow the box to close properly. Everything fits perfectly otherwise. Broken token just released there version of an organizer. I’ve purchased them in the past and have no complaints. A bit pricier but well worth it.

Title: Solid and a really good holder
Review: Let me start off by saying, I like this tray. I prefer this immensely compared to just using plastic bags.I had a few concerns when getting this product, which were solved with several weeks of use.- The tray is pretty much like the picture. With a foam cover over, rule book, and map the top box is slightly taller. But worth it to keep the miniatures from being smashed or loosened by other pieces.- The placement of the faction and action tiles is not balanced, weight-distribution wise. So if you hold it by the wrong side by accident, you risk the boards pulling the foam tray down. But fear not! I did this once after a little too much whiskey and the foam did not rip! Some pieces went tumbling…but the tray endured the stretching.- It does not have perfect spots for the expansion items. It doesn’t really have a good spot for the plastic resource holder cups that came with the game. But I looked at it and was all, “Life finds a way.”. I had to do a little reorganizing..and a little stacking, but if can *snuggly* fit those items. (adding more height to the box). But hey, if it keeps my minis from being bent or losing an arm then it’s worth it.If you’re reading this, you should get it. It just works out of the box!!…and into the box..

Title: If you play this game a lot, you will want to get this
Review: I’ve been playing Scythe for a few months now, one night per week. If there’s one thing that’s no-so-fun about this game is cleanup time. Wanting to keep all of the different factions grouped, keeping each of the many types of cards together with others of the same type, we were using all of the ziplock plastic bags and pack things with care after each night of play. I knew that buying these foam organizer trays would help, but none of us knew to the degree! Time to put this game away starting with 5 players game tokens all over, as well as coins, cards, resources, etc into the original sized plastic bags was averaging about 15-20 minutes. Surprised and pleased we were to double check the ticker and confirm around 7 minutes put away time without using any baggies! It’s a simple review for me on this particular product. The time it saves, protection it offers your playing pieces (especially the small delicate arms and swords and some of the Mech details), and for the cost – if you can get the players to chip in – it becomes a necessity if you play regularly.

Title: Board Doesn’t Fit
Review: I had high hopes for this organizer, but have been let down. With everything in place, per the suggested layout, the game board doesn’t come close to fitting in the box, with or without the topper. This is very disappointing, as one of the reasons I bought this was to keep the game in good shape. Now I need to find an alternative method for moving and storing the boards. Not having them in the box is also one more thing to remember.My hope is that since this fits in the Legendary box, there will finally be one place where everything fits, but as of now, the original box with this organizer is not it. I would not recommend it.

Title: $25 for some foam? You betcha!
Review: I, as did the others, found it silly to spend so much on a piece organizer for a game that already costs $80.That being said, it really increases the enjoyment of the game. The simple act of having all the different pieces of the game neatly laid out at the beginning of play and the ease of putting everything away after a game makes it everything less frustrating than when we were using baggies for all the cards and pieces.I know it sounds silly and I know the $25 is a bit hard to swallow but swallow it you should. The first time you play after you buy this, you will be happy you got it.
