Title: Helps divert heat and sound
Review: I went to work came home and my wife had it installed on our TJ Wrangler jeep on the undercarriage around the transmission tunnel. Definitely helped divert some heat and deadening of some road noise. That’s my farm girl. Great job sweetheart.

Title: Works plain and simple
Review: Stuff works. I have an old XJ and when I redid the headliner I decided to throw some of this in really quick. Took 5 mins to get most of it in and it significantly helped reduce noise. I have a roof rack and light set up and doesn’t do well against a wind or airflow and was creating a lot of noise on the highway and now it’s literally silent.

Title: Quiet cool ride!
Review: This stuff is a great value! The adhesive is surprisingly strong and the foam is thick yet firm, and easy to trim eith a razor. My vehicle has a straight piped 318 Mopar engine that was annpyingly loud in the cab this product has cut the noise in more than Half! The install was straight forward and I could not be happier with the results! The size was perfect for the footwell and under seat, to do a full floor in a medium suv (1984 dodge ramcharger) I would say 8 sheets are needed I did just the front area and wished I would have dor the rest right away.

Title: Hard to peel.
Review: Paper backing is annoying to get off. Rips in little pieces. Hard to cut straight lines even with brand new razor blade. This is because of the paper backing too.

Title: Seems to work very well. Used on VW engine cover.
Review: The original foam noise insulation mat on my 13 VW Touareg engine cover had turned dry and crumbly after almost 11 years. Several chunks were falling and tearing off. I wanted a new one. But they are NOT sold by Volkswagen, only the entire engine cover $$$. This sound mat works great. It was not hard to work with. I cleaned the engine cover, measuring the old foam insulator first and making a cardboard template. Then with a scraper and acetone, I removed the old insulation foam, and followed up with sandpaper and acetone. I cut the new insulation with a utility knife on a breadboard, and did small trim with industrial scissors. In about an hour, I had a new foam insulator, and it works. Engine noise is a little bit better than before, and it has held up to engine heat.
