Title: Works well in transmit mode, sounds good, good design, great value
Review: I tested it in transmit mode using the aux input with various sources (including radios & phones) and various bluetooth devices (including Apple Airpods and a bluetooth sound system). It connected quickly and sounded good. I like the features and included cables. One bluetooth device did have some distortion at first, but when I turned it off and reconnected the distortion was gone. This was probably the the fault of the receiving device. Would buy again.

Review: Basic product, it works. Although I only later realized that my TV and receiver have Bluetooth built in so maybe check that first. I like the simplicity of the controls. The included cables are garbage. The toslink cable doesn’t even fit into the device. Works at 20 ft range.

Title: High power, long range, easy to use
Review: I bought this to add bluetooth to my home stereo system, and it worked really well.The setup/binding process is incredibly simple, it’s super easy to use, and the sound output is very high making it really nice to use.Quality seems more than adequate, it switches to aptX mode, which is the main thing I cared about.

Title: Refuses to connect to paired devices
Review: It was fairly easy to pair to my headphones and it worked fine that first time, but getting it to reconnect is like a 10 minute process of turning on and off the transmitter and my headphones until I get lucky and they connect. Don’t waste your money.

Title: Great range
Review: So, I wasn’t thrilled with the reviews of other no name bluetooth adapters, so I went with Monoprice despite only 1 other review. At least I’ve used their cables and comfortable with the brand. I needed a Bluetooth adapter that to connect a 3.5mm headset (TRS) to connect to an older sound system and transmit to my Sony Bluetooth headsets.This Bluetooth adapter does support connecting 2 headsets that can simultaneously receive from this device. So it’s working great for me in transmit mode. As far as range, it’s pretty far. I have the adapter transmitting from one side of my mother in law’s ranch house, and I can easily go to the other side of the house without issue. So I can keep listening while making a sandwich in the kitchen. :)If you flip the switch, you can place it into receive mode so you can connect like an Amazon Alexa or something else to an input. It has 4 ports.. Aux (3.5mm), optical in, optical out and power. Comes with cables pictured (USB, 3.5mm male/male, 3.5mm female to rca, and optical) , but no USB power brick.Works great, no complaints! Would reccomend.

Title: A wonderful upgrade
Review: I’ve enjoyed Monoprice products for over a decade. I had purchased an earlier version of this product and was pleased with it. This is a substantial upgrade and I’m thrilled with it. Love the quality, ease of pairing, and consistent connection with an indicator light identifying each of the connected devices when connected.
