Title: Beautifully written; stunning photos- keep coming back to it!
Review: This book is unlike any I’ve read- in the best way! It’s part poetry, part suggestions to make a house more welcoming, but it’s also got snippets of memoir and recipes. I’ve certainly changed some ways I set up my house and view guests, but unlike reading other “good housekeeping” type literature, this one speaks to the soul and the heart of hospitality. I’ve already ordered more copies for gifts- it’s such a lovely read and one I will keep coming back to!

Title: This book is so inviting that it feels like a warm mug you hold close to your face.
Review: There are some books you pick up and casually stroll through. They may peak an interest, idea, or inspire brief change. This book is simply more than just a good book. I don’t know how to put more words in front of such beautiful letters on a page. There were tears that turned to laughter. Every page is covered in beauty, from words to images. You can tell this book took time, intentionality, and a release of her soul to give back to the world. What a beautiful gift to give. The vulnerability and engaging notes left me wishing there was more to see and experience. The only fluff I’ve seemed to find in this book is the gentleness that these pages gave me to gently land on. A nice cloud of sweetness to carry me through. Her humility was captivating. I bought one for all my friends to share in the loveliness Liz created.

Review: This book has brought such joy to me, my mom and my cousin. We each have hospitable spirits and enjoyed the practical advice, easy recipes, glossy pictures, and open spaces of this lovely book!! Title: A tender haven of a book
Review: This book is one I want to read time and again and leave out in my home for others to pick up. I don’t know what is more comforting and inspiring—the images or the words. They are both so gorgeous, gentle, and welcoming. My mother picked up the book while visiting me over a weekend and couldn’t put it down. She said “That’s the first book have read cover-to-cover in years.” I’m giving away copies to all my favorite people.

Title: My Family room coffee table book
Review: This book is beautiful, engaging, delightful and inspiring. It is hard to put it down with how the author draws you in with her story telling and descriptions. I laughed and cried and reflected on so many things that can make my life better and the people around me. The images and art is also lovely. Def an easy book for my go-to gift list! SO SO GOOD!

Title: Little substance
Review: On the positive side, there were some lovely photographs and an attempt at a book. The flip side; trite and self-aggrandizing with little to no real substance to creating an invitation to gentle hospitality as promised in the title. Others say they have bought copies for others; I would surely not give this piece of fluff to a friend.
