Title: Great, aesthetic, and chill game to play with friends
Review: I love this game’s chill aesthetic, it has very minimal competition between players (only way you can “screw someone over” is by taking a spot on the path deliberately to block them from taking it.This game is really a “choose your own strategy” kind of game and is simple, easy to learn, but can employ a lot of strategy, especially with the expansions included. The art is so clean and nice, and I really love playing it. One thing to note is that the board is MUCH bigger than the non-deluxe version of the game, so make sure you have a big enough table to play this on!

Title: Great game for all levels
Review: It’s a pretty game, and feels authenticly eastern. All levels can enjoy it and it doesn’t demand such concentration that you can’t enjoy each other’s company while playing. I don’t stress while playing because I can’t strategise too far ahead of time; I just make the most of what is available at the time. That’s my kind of game. Enjoyable.

Title: Great game – great details – strategy or no strategy you have fun
Review: This is a fantastic game. We have two young daughters and they love playing this game. You can have strategy when you’re older and my girls are trying to learn that but you can just play it to play and have fun too. They love the characters! All the little tiny detail pieces that go into this game are fantastic and make this so much more fun!

Title: Fun Game, Super Wide
Review: Tokaido is a very simple strategic game. “It’s not the Destination, It’s the journey.”Althought I want to give this product a 5 star, I couldn’t due to the size of this box.It’s very wide (14.4 inches), sure that doesn’t effect the gameplay but it does slightly effect the experience, not exactly portable or travel friendly for board game nights.My own bias opinion for I can’t fit this in any of the board game bags… if the board game company can make a box that has a higher height, I would prefer that over a wide and lengthier box.Height > Width x Length

Title: Fun game—definitely recommend
Review: Took only 2 tries and I already understand more or less how game goes. Like that one can get to win from different avenues! Love the artwork and figurines!! Love that the additional expansion I bought fits in the main box! Can’t believe it actually has background music CD!!! From the maker of 7 Wonders and there are some similar drifts! But I see it as a game we will enjoy playing over & over!
