Title: A reliable yet inexpensive security solar camera
Review: The camera is an outstanding value for the cost. It connects with wifi in just a few clicks and using WiFi 6 it maintains a reliable connection to the internet. With an installed microSD card, storage is a breeze and replay is quick and easy. The camera’s motion detection and people detection triggger recording and notification flawlessly. I especially like the CloudEdge app, which allows display of four cameras, simultaneously, on my phone using quad display. The solar panel means never having to dismount the camera to recharge the battery. All in All, an excellent choice for a wireless solar PTZ camera.

Title: Very Nice
Review: I mounted this at the 2nd floor level front side of my home. Set up was easy and this camera works very well. The camera is responsive, picture/video quality is excellent, and the pan/tilt feature is exactly what I wanted. Zoom is ok but gets pixelated. No biggy for me though. Night vision works well and when the camera picks up movement at night the camera spotlight comes on and the view on my phone switches to color. The battery life has been great with the solar panel and has not really dipped much below full. I inserted a micro-SD card and can easily retrieve all recordings captured after motion is detected.

Title: Good camera but one major flaw.
Review: **UPDATE** After a week of using these I have dropped my rating to 1 star. I was told that I could access and download the SD card images from the camera. There is no way to do this that I can find in the app. This basically makes these cameras useless. At the very least you should be able to download your clips.Bought 2 of these to replace some Arlo cameras that I was quite disappointed with. The install is easy, but you do have to use their screws otherwise the camera will not attach to the wall mount properly. I learned this from experience as I first mounted the bracket with some standard wood screws. I tend to use outdoor wood screws with star drive heads for camera installations. If the heads of the screws don’t recess into the holes of the mount, they block the ability of the camera to mount completely. A minor issue but worth noting. The included screws should work for most situations albeit they are quite light duty. The cameras themselves are of decent quality. The image is clear and nice. The IR for night vision works well. One of our cameras is mounted on a shed that is about 75ft from our house and 100ft from our wireless router. That maintains an 85% signal which equates to some drop-outs and disconnects when viewing the camera live. Mind you, this is mostly a problem with where our wireless router is stationed. Not the camera’s fault. The other camera is mounted to the front of our house and works at 100%. Not sure really how the solar works as I caught it saying it was charging the camera at 2am the other night. And the battery did go from 86% to 91% by morning. Apparently, it’s ghost charging or something. Not quite sure. For the first 4 days we had bright but overcast conditions and the solar would not charge. I read something in the manual that said you should keep the battery at 50-80% for max longevity so maybe it just doesn’t charge until it meets a specific requirement. Today it is sunny here and it is indeed charging. Overall, I am happy with the 2 cameras I purchased but there is 1 major flaw. You cannot view these cameras on a desktop. On Cloudedge, the app that supports these cameras they say you can install the android app on Windows 11, but I am here to tell you, unless I hack the .APK or run Bluestacks (Not in a million years) then you cannot install the app on Windows or a Mac. One part of the site suggests using the Amazon Store App on PC, but I tried that route and the CloudEdge app is not available on the Amazon App Store here at least in the US. To be considered a decent security camera I really believe they need desktop support. I can view my Arlo cams (when they work) and my Nest Cams on the web at any time. So, if that is a feature you desire, I highly suggest you steer clear of these cameras. If all you care about is viewing on a tablet or phone, then you are good to go. I knocked off 2 stars off my rating for the screw issue and the no desktop support issue. I would easily forgive the screw thing if this cam had desktop support.

Title: Update: Seller replaced my 3 cameras
Review: Update:Final update seller replaced all 3 cameras and they are working correctly now. Best customer service I have ever experienced on Amazon.Previous comment.Their customer service chat seem to be a chat bot that provides no help.I would not recommend these. The camera drains the battery quickly even with the included solar panel. The solar panel doesn’t really seem to do much. It looks like I’ll have to remove this to wall charge it every 2 months. Plus it’s very difficult to remove the camera from the mount once installed. My Noorio and Tappo cameras usually last at least 5 or 6 months without a solar panel before I need to remove them to recharge them.Plus even with the sensitivity turned to full max, the camera doesn’t seem to record until you are 3 or 4 feet in front of these.SMH.I mounted my other 2 in full sun and they seem to be working ok but I still would not recommend these.The 2 included pics are of the camera in my backyard and of it removed for wall charging. If you mounted this without rear access to the camera clip mount you would most likely need to break the clip camera mount included with these just to remove the camera for wall charging. A very bad design.I would have returned these if they were still within the return period.Below is the original review before I found out about the issues of owning these for more than 30 days.I purchased 3 of these and so far I have installed 1 in my backyard. I’m waiting for the corner camera mounts to arrive to install the other 2 in the front of my house on the corners. I have the blink camera system, Tappo and Noorio brand camera systems and light bulb cameras. You might say that I am a tech junkie.Original review is below.These cameras work great with the solar panel. The battery hasn’t drained from 100% and it’s now cloudy and lacking sun right now for me.I’m very surprised of the battery life.The only complaint that I have is that this camera doesn’t have motion tracking and the A.I. features are with a paid subscription.A few of my camera systems includes A.I. features without the subscription service.Overall, I would recommend this for the price. Pretty good but it could be better.For the price it’s pretty awesome.
