Title: Dynamic small powerful handheld radios
Review: When I first saw these radios online, I was skeptical about how well they would work. I have a number of applications I use two-way radios for … farming, search and rescue, business shows, dispatch, monitoring public safety, ham radio, GMRS and more. I love finding a walkie-talkie that will do all of that so I only have to carry one radio with me for all reasons. While these radios are 16 UHF channels, I found that sufficient for programming in my bevy of licensed frequencies. What I like more than anything is how well they sound using a repeater. I was amazed at how well they transmitted through the repeater from one handheld to the other. I was also impressed with the range they had, even with the small antennas on them. They are great for event communications and we even used the acoustic earpieces for exceptional grounds coverage during a large event. I was impressed at the quality of the sound of these radios. You hardly know you are even using the radios because they are so small and lightweight and they don’t get in your way when you are busy, especially with the earpieces. The batteries seem to last a long time and charge rather rapidly. Everyone was impressed with how clear the radios sounded when we were using them. The 16 channels also allowed different teams to use different channels during the event, while being able to switch to one common channel, if needed. Also, unlike many two-way radios today, these radios have a small internal battery that also is lightweight, making the radios’ overall weight low as well as small in size. If you want a radio that works well, sounds good and isn’t bulky, these are perfect. They are easily programmed for your own frequencies from the downloaded software and work in both narrowband (for business or public safety) or wideband (for GMRS or ham radio). These radios will get plenty of workouts in the future for a variety of purposes.

Title: Enough for sharing with neighbor’s kids
Review: As an amateur radio hobbyist, I own plenty of radios, and I bought this pack for kids to play as well as a back in my cars.They are small, easy and light enough for any kids older than 5 to handle and operate.Unlike some of the other models, I like that the channel selection is buttons are located on the side, instead of the “turn” style that can be easily switched by mistake. What’s more, holding plus and minus buttons at the same time locks the channel to avoid any accidental channel changing! This is a must-have for any walkie talkies IMO.The earpieces included works wonderfully and they provide stealthy operation when we go outside and kids think they are CIA agents!!! Hours of fun playing with them!The mini-USB charging feature is so convenient so I don’t have to worry about losing the proprietory charging docks or cables.I only wish that micro-USB is used so they can share the cable with phones, as we see less mini-USB style devices. Batteries are user-replaceable. They can be used while charging. My kill-a-watt shows around 8 watts when the provide charger charges two units at the same time — so much better than Motorola consumer-grade ones that use 3 Ni-MH AA battery packs.Belt clips can be taken off easily and the plastic case is well made, doesn’t feel cheap at all. Hopefully, they will survive the abuse of kids.They are also loud and clear and I was unable to exceed the range in my neighborhood, but I will be testing its maximum range soon.If you found my review helpful, please click “Helpful”, thank you!

Title: Walkie Talkie at Football Games
Review: Some channels had a lot of static. For the most part they served the purpose. The Chanel’s that worked well had to many other people or groups on it. This made it difficult to communicate especially when some of the other groups were children.

Title: Wont talk to other brands
Review: I bought this 10 pack to go along with a 10 pack of radiotity t22. The t22 broadcasts to both brands but not conversely. Too bad the tidradios were less expensive, have 22 channels compared to 16. Side by side both radios are twins. So I gotta return these so we can have 20 radios that communicate for events.

Title: Earpieces need to be better
Review: Bought these for use at our church and the radios work well. The only problem is almost half of the earpieces stopped working. Also would be helpful if it came with a little plastic stand to hold them all in together while charging.

Title: ANIMAL SHELTER LOVES THESE
Review: We ordered these to use at our Animal Shelter. They work very well for our needs. The small size and short antenna make them easy to carry while walking a rambunctious dog. The battery life is amazing. We just ordered a second set of 10. The only downfall is the set up process, we have some Motorola ones we use as well and had to program these. The cable needed to do so was not included. The instructions could be a little more clearer. The cable to program was under $20 so no big deal. We have tried quite a few different brands and these by far have exceeded our expectations.
