Title: Classic Story With a Great Message
Review: My 4 year old has been obsessed with this book since I bought it and we have read it every night before bed. The story is about a naughty bunny named Peter Rabbit, whose mother tells him and his sisters to stay away from Mr. McGregor’s garden, but of course he doesn’t listen. He goes right to the garden when his mother goes out and feasts on lots of the farmer’s vegetables, only to get chased by Mr. McGregor who nearly catches him several times, but he manages to escape and make it home at last. His sisters are rewarded with berries, bread, and milk for being good and listening to their mother, but Peter is sent to bed with only tea. I’ve discussed the message with my daughter several times and drove home the point that when your parents warn you not to do something, they are trying to protect you and also discussed the consequences of not listening like Peter.The illustrations are classic and beautiful and I love the board book format so the book doesn’t get destroyed after so many repeated readings. Before buying it, I read lots of reviews in which others complained that it is not the original text, but a SUMMARIZED version, which is true, but for us, the message of the book is still there. I’ve even made stick puppets of the characters and she enjoys acting out the story with them. Very cute book!

Title: Cute but feels unedited
Review: The book is an adorable gift and great quality. It reminds me of my childhood. After reading it though it feels like good parts were taken out. It seems a little jumpy and unfinished in the story. I know it is a shortened version, but something feels off.

Title: Very abridged text with the charm removed
Review: The board book format is good but the text is abridged in a clumsy manner. The poetic expressions of the original text are gone. Also, some scenes are missing. The reader isn’t told where Mrs. Rabbit is going or where Mopsy, Flopsy, and Cottontail are while Peter is in the garden. Very disappointing.

Review: Libro con ilustraciones originales y texto en inglés de editorial inglesa. Tiene un buen tamaño, de ancho como un folio, aunque dado que solo son unas 16 páginas, es muy fino. Ganaría muchísimo como regalo con unas tapas duras, pero por ese precio, 4 euros, menor que el de tarifa junto al ISBN, es una buena opción.

Review: This 110th Anniversary Edition of ‘The World of Peter Rabbit and Beatrix Potter’ is the perfect gift for children and adult collectors alike. The slipcover is cream with striking gold metallic foil detailing and the pages are edged in the same bright gold giving the book a special and unique feel. There is a ‘110 Years’ logo in the bottom left corner, a gold silhouette of Beatrix Potter in the centre and intricate foliage and rabbit artwork on the front and back covers. The hardback book itself contains the history of Beatrix Potter and how ‘The Tale of Peter Rabbit’ first began. Although the book is small it contains a wealth of interesting information about the imagination of Beatrix Potter, the publication of her work and the magical world of the beloved Peter Rabbit when he first sprang to life from a letter. This is a fascinating and beautiful edition that any fan will enjoy immensely and I would also recommend the 110th Anniversary Editions of ‘The Tale of Peter Rabbit’ and ‘Dear Peter: Miniature Letters By Beatrix Potter’ which are presented in the same style with blue and bronze metallic covers respectively.

Review: I love Peter rabbit, very lovely edition, with golden coat on the pages. Bought this book for my 2 year old niece and am seriously thinking about keeping it for myself even if I’m 35 lol.
